Hazrat Ubayyah ibn Rafi' narrates that his grandfather passed away and left behind a slave woman who used to earn. When this matter was mentioned to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) deemed the earnings of the slave woman to be disliked and said that perhaps she has no other means, that's why she does this.
حضرت عبایہ بن رفاعہ فرماتے ہیں کہ ان کے دادا کا انتقال ہوا اور انھوں نے ایک باندی چھوڑی جو کمائی کرتی تھی۔ اس بات کا حضور (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے ذکر کیا گیا تو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے باندی کی کمائی کو مکروہ قرار دیا اور فرمایا کہ شاید اس کے پاس کوئی راستہ نہیں اس لیے وہ ایسا کرتی ہے۔
Hazrat Abayh bin Rafah farmate hain ke un ke dada ka intiqal hua aur unhon ne ek bandi chori jo kamai karti thi Iss baat ka huzoor (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) se zikar kiya gaya to aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne bandi ki kamai ko makrooh qarar diya aur farmaya ke shayad uske paas koi rasta nahi is liye wo aisa karti hai
It is narrated on the authority of Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade earning from singing.
حضرت ابوہریرہ (رض) سے مروی ہے کہ آنحضرت (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے باندی کی کمائی سے منع فرمایا۔
Hazrat Abu Huraira (RA) se marvi hai keh Aap (SAW) ne bandi ki kamai se mana farmaya.
Hazrat Usman (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Do not oblige a child to earn, otherwise he will steal, and do not oblige a slave girl to earn, otherwise she will earn from her chastity, and remain chaste when Allah has kept you chaste, and for you are the profits that are pure and lawful for you.
حضرت عثمان (رض) ارشاد فرماتے ہیں کہ بچے کو کمائی کرنے کا مکلف نہ بناؤ ورنہ وہ چوری کرے گا، اور باندی کو کمائی کا مکلف نہ بناؤ ورنہ اپنی شرمگاہ سے کمائی حاصل کرے گی، اور پاک دامن رہو جب اللہ نے تمہیں پاک دامن رکھا ہے، اور تمہارے لیے وہ منافع ہیں جو تمہارے پاک اور حلال ہیں۔
Hazrat Usman (RA) irshad farmate hain keh bachay ko kamai karne ka mukallaf na banao warna woh chori karega, aur bandi ko kamai ka mukallaf na banao warna apni sharamgah se kamai hasil karegi, aur pak daaman raho jab Allah ne tumhen pak daaman rakha hai, aur tumhare liye woh manafe hain jo tumhare pak aur halal hain.
It is narrated from Hazrat Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade taking Jizya from a woman unless she is in business independently.
حضرت جابر (رض) سے مروی ہے کہ آنحضرت (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے باندی سے خراج وصول کرنے سے منع فرمایا ہے مگر یہ کہ وہ مستقل عمل کرتی ہو۔
Hazrat Jaber (RA) se marvi hai keh Aap (SAW) ne bandi se kharaj wasool karne se mana farmaya hai magar yeh keh woh mustaqil amal karti ho.
