It is narrated from Hazrat Jabir that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had cauterized a vein in the arm of Hazrat Saad.
حضرت جابر سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے حضرت سعد کو ان کے ان کے بازو کی ایک رگ میں داغ دیا تھا۔
Hazrat Jabir se riwayat hai keh Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne Hazrat Saad ko un ke bazu ki aik rag mein daagh diya tha.
It is narrated on the authority of Hazrat Qais bin Abi Hazim, he said: We went to Hazrat Khabbab to inquire about his health. He had been branded seven times on his stomach.
حضرت قیس بن ابی حازم سے روایت ہے کہتے ہیں کہ ہم حضرت خباب کی عیادت کرنے کے لیے ان کے ہاں گئے۔ انھوں نے اپنے پیٹ میں سات مرتبہ داغا ہو اتھا۔
Hazrat Qais bin Abi Hazim se riwayat hai kehte hain ki hum Hazrat Khabbab ki aiadat karne ke liye un ke han gaye Unhon ne apne pet mein saat martaba daagha ho utha tha
It is narrated on the authority of Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: Abu Talha (may Allah be pleased with him) branded me with a hot iron, and he did so because of a disease of tonsillitis.
حضرت انس سے روایت ہے، کہتے ہیں کہ مجھے ابو طلحہ نے داغا اور انھوں نے بوجہ لقوہ کے مرض کے داغا۔
Hazrat Anas se riwayat hai, kehte hain ke mujhe Abu Talha ne daga aur unhon ne bojah laqwa ke marz ke daga.
It is narrated on the authority of Muhammad bin 'Abdur Rahman bin Sa'd bin Zararah that I heard my paternal uncle Yahya -- I have not found anyone among my own people resembling him -- narrating that Sa'd bin Zararah suffered from a disease in his throat which is called 'Dhubh' (quinsy). The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "I shall certainly cause harm to Abu Umamah (by cauterising him) or he said: I shall certainly try (cauterisation as a remedy)." So he (the Holy Prophet) cauterised him with his own hand and he died. Thereupon the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "This (event) is an evil death for the Jews. They would say: Why did Muhammad not remove the ailment of his companion, whereas he is not the master of my life?"
حضرت محمد بن عبد الرحمن بن سعد بن زرارہ سے روایت ہے کہ میں نے اپنے چچا حضرت یحییٰ ۔۔۔ اپنے میں سے کسی آدمی کو میں نے ان کے مشابہ نہیں پایا ۔۔۔کو بیان کرتے سُنا کہ حضرت سعد بن زرارہ کو حلق میں ایک بیماری پیدا ہوگئی جس کو ذبح (سوزش) کہا جاتا ہے، رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ارشاد فرمایا : ” میں ضرور بالضرور ابو امامہ میں عذر کو پہنچاؤں گا یا فرمایا : میں ضرور بالضرور آزماؤں گا، چنانچہ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ان کو اپنے ہاتھ سے داغا اور وہ انتقال کر گئے، تو رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ارشاد فرمایا : ” یہود کے لیے یہ (واقعہ) بری موت ہے، وہ کہیں گے، محمد نے اپنے ساتھی سے تکلیف کیوں نہ دور کی، حالانکہ میں تو اپنی جان کا مالک نہیں ہوں۔ “
Hazrat Muhammad bin Abdul Rahman bin Saad bin Zararah se riwayat hai keh maine apne chacha Hazrat Yahya apne mein se kisi aadmi ko maine un ke mushabahah nahi paya ko bayan karte suna keh Hazrat Saad bin Zararah ko halaq mein ek bimari peda hogayi jis ko zabah sozish kaha jata hai, Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne irshad farmaya: "Main zaroor bil zaroor Abu Imamh mein uzr ko pohonchaunga ya farmaya: Main zaroor bil zaroor azmaunga, chunancha aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne un ko apne hath se daagha aur woh inteqal kar gaye, to Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne irshad farmaya: "Yahud ke liye yeh (waqea) buri maut hai, woh kahenge, Muhammad ne apne sathi se takleef kyun na door ki, halanki main to apni jaan ka malik nahi hun."
It is narrated on the authority of Hazrat Mutarraf bin Shakir that Hazrat Imran bin Husain used to prevent (people) from branding (themselves), but then later he himself got his body branded.
حضرت مطرف بن شخیر سے روایت ہے کہ حضرت عمران بن حصین داغنے سے روکا کرتے تھے، لیکن پھر انھوں نے بعد میں اپنے بدن پر داغ لگوایا۔
Hazrat Mutraf bin Shakh'ir se riwayat hai ke Hazrat Imran bin Husain daghne se roka karte thay, lekin phir unhon ne baad mein apne badan par dagh laguwaya.
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Majliz that he said: "Umar ibn Husayn used to forbid cupping, but then he fell ill and cupped himself. Then he would say in a loud voice, 'I have cauterized myself with fire, but it has neither relieved the pain nor cured the disease.'"
حضرت ابو مجلز سے روایت ہے کہ حضرت عمران بن حصین داغنے سے روکا کرتے تھے لیکن پھر وہ (مرض میں) مبتلا ہوئے تو انھوں نے خود کو داغ لگایا۔ پھر اس کے بعد وہ اونچی آواز سے کہا کرتے تھے کہ میں نے خود کو آگ کے ذریعہ سے داغا ہے لیکن اس نے نہ تو تکلیف ختم کی اور نہ ہی بیماری میں شفا دی۔
Hazrat Abu Majlaz se riwayat hai ki Hazrat Imran bin Haseen daagne se roka karte thay lekin phir wo (marz mein) mubtala hue to unhon ne khud ko dagh lagaya. Phir uske baad wo unchi aawaz se kaha karte thay ki maine khud ko aag ke zariye se dagha hai lekin usne na to takleef khatam ki aur na hi bimari mein shifa di.
It is narrated from Hazrat Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) that a person was brought to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and it was said that he should be branded. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Brand him." Or he said: "Brand him with a hot stone."
حضرت عبداللہ سے روایت ہے، کہتے ہیں کہ نبی کریم (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کی خدمت میں ایک شخص کو لایا گیا جس کے بارے میں داغنے کو کہا گیا تھا نبی کریم (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے اس کو فرمایا : ” اس کو داغو یا فرمایا ، اس کو گرم پتھر سے داغو۔ “
Hazrat Abdullah se riwayat hai, kehte hain ke Nabi Kareem (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ki khidmat mein ek shakhs ko laya gaya jis ke bare mein daagne ko kaha gaya tha Nabi Kareem (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne uss ko farmaya: "Uss ko daagho ya farmaya, uss ko garm pathar se daagho."
Hazrat Hasan bin Sa'ad narrates from his father that he said: Hazrat Hasan bin Ali had a pregnant she-camel whose hump had fallen to one side, so he ordered me to cut it off and cauterize it.
حضرت حسن بن سعد، اپنے والد سے روایت کرتے ہیں کہ انھوں نے فرمایا : حضرت حسن بن علی کے پاس ایک بختی اونٹنی تھی جس کا کوہان ایک جانب گرگیا تھا چنانچہ انھوں نے مجھے حکم دیا کہ میں اس کو کاٹ دوں اور داغ دوں۔
Hazrat Hassan bin Saad apne walid se riwayat karte hain keh unhon ne farmaya: Hazrat Hassan bin Ali ke paas ek bakhti untni thi jis ka kohan ek janib gir gaya tha chunache unhon ne mujhe hukum diya keh main us ko kaat dun aur daagh dun.
