It is narrated from Hazrat Anas that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "The best thing you take as medicine is cupping (Hijama), and for your children, it is Indian costus (Ood Hindi)."
حضرت انس سے روایت ہے، کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ارشاد فرمایا : ” تم جو کچھ بطور دواء کے اختیار کرتے ہو اس میں سے بہترین شئے حجامت (پچھنے لگوانا) ہے اور تمہارے بچوں کے لیے عود ہندی ہے۔
Hazrat Anas se riwayat hai, kehte hain ke Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne irshad farmaya: "Tum jo kuchh ba tor dawa ke ikhtiyar karte ho us mein se behtarin shay hijaamat (peethne lagwana) hai aur tumhare bachchon ke liye oud hindi hai.
It is narrated on the authority of Hazrat Yasir bin Amr who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "There is healing in cupping."
حضرت یسیر بن عمرو سے روایت ہے، کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ارشاد فرمایا : ” حجامت (پچھنے لگوانے) میں شفاء ہے۔ “
Hazrat Yasir bin Amro se riwayat hai, kehte hain ke Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne irshad farmaya: "Hajamat (pichne lagwane) mein shifa hai."
It is narrated on the authority of Hadrat Abdur Rahman bin Abi Layla that the Companions say: When the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) fell ill, you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) sent someone to a man, then he asked him about you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).
حضرت عبد الرحمن بن ابی لیلیٰ سے روایت ہے کہ صحابہ کہتے ہیں۔ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) بیمار ہوئے تو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ایک آدمی کی طرف کسی کو بھیجا پس اس نے آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو پچھنے لگائے۔
Hazrat Abdur Rehman bin Abi Laila se riwayat hai keh Sahaba kehte hain, Rasool Allah salAllahu alaihi wasallam beemar hue to Aap salAllahu alaihi wasallam ne ek aadmi ki taraf kisi ko bheja pas usne Aap salAllahu alaihi wasallam ko puchne lagay.
It is narrated from Hazrat Ibrahim that Hazrat Uyaynah bin Hison came to the service of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was getting cupping (Hijama) done. Hazrat Uyaynah asked, "What is this?" He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) replied, "This is the best of the remedies that the Arabs use."
حضرت ابراہیم سے روایت ہے۔ کہتے ہیں کہ حضرت عیینہ بن حصن، رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوئے اور آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) حجامت (پچھنے) لگوا رہے تھے۔ حضرت عیینہ نے پوچھا۔ یہ کیا ہے ؟ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : ” اہل عرب جن طریقوں سے علاج کرتے ہیں یہ ان میں سے بہترین طریقہ ہے۔ “
Hazrat Ibrahim se riwayat hai. Kehte hain ke Hazrat Uyaynah bin Hissan, Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ki khidmat mein hazir hue aur aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) hijaamat (peethne) lagwa rahe the. Hazrat Uyaynah ne pucha. Yeh kya hai? Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya: "Ahl-e-Arab jin tariqon se ilaaj karte hain ye un mein se behtarin tareeqa hai."
It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "The best of your remedies is cupping."
حضرت ابوہریرہ ، نبی کریم (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے روایت کرتے ہیں کہ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ارشاد فرمایا : ” تم جن طریقوں سے علاج کرتے ہو ان میں سے اگر کسی میں بہتری ہے تو حجامت (پچھنے لگوانے) میں ہے۔
Hazrat Abu Hurairah, Nabi Kareem (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) se riwayat karte hain ke aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne irshad farmaya: "Tum jin tariqon se elaj karte ho un mein se agar kisi mein behtari hai to hijamah (peethne lagwane) mein hai."
It is narrated on the authority of Hazrat Samurah bin Jundab, who said that I was present in the blessed service of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) when you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) summoned a cupper and ordered him to cup you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), so he took out the horns' mouths and stuck them to you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and he began to make incisions on you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) with the edge of a blade, and your (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) blood flowed, and I was by your (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) side. Meanwhile, a man from Banu Fazara came to you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and asked, "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)! What is this? On what basis have you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) given this man power over your skin so that he is cutting it?" Hazrat Samurah said, "So I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: 'This is cupping.'" The man asked, "What is cupping?" You (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "It is among the best of the things with which people seek treatment."
حضرت سمرہ بن جندب سے روایت ہے، کہتے ہیں کہ میں جناب نبی کریم (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کی خدمت اقدس میں حاضر تھا کہ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ایک حجام کو بلوایا اور اس کو حکم دیا کہ وہ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو پچھنے لگائے چنانچہ اس نے سینگوں کی سینگیاں نکالیں اور وہ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو چپکا دیں۔ اور آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو ایک بلیڈ کے کنارے سے چیرے لگانے لگا۔ اور آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کا خون بہہ پڑا اور میں آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے پاس تھا۔ اس دوران بنو فزارہ کا ایک شخص آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوا اور اس نے پوچھا۔ یا رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) ! یہ کیا ہے ؟۔ کس بات پر آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے اس آدمی کو اپنی کھال پر قدرت دے رکھی ہے کہ یہ اس کو کاٹ رہا ہے۔ حضرت سمرہ کہتے ہیں پس میں نے رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو کہتے سُنا : ” یہ حجامت (پچھنے لگوانا) ہے۔ ‘ ‘ اس آدمی نے پوچھا، حجامت کیا ہے ؟ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ارشاد فرمایا : ” جن چیزوں سے لوگ علاج کرتے ہیں یہ ان میں سے بہترین چیز ہے۔ “
Hazrat Samra bin Jundab se riwayat hai, kehte hain ke mein janab Nabi Kareem (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ki khidmat aqdas mein hazir tha ke aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne ek hajam ko bulaya aur us ko hukum diya ke woh aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ko pichne lagaye chunancha us ne seengon ki seengiyan nikaleen aur woh aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ko chipka deen. Aur aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ko ek blade ke kinare se chehre lagane laga. Aur aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ka khoon beh pada aur mein aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ke pass tha. Is dauran Banu Fazarah ka ek shakhs aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ki khidmat mein hazir hua aur us ne poocha. Ya Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam)! Yeh kya hai?. Kis baat par aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne is aadmi ko apni khaal par qudrat de rakhi hai ke yeh is ko kaat raha hai. Hazrat Samra kehte hain pas maine Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ko kehte suna: "Yeh hijaamat (pichne lagwana) hai." Is aadmi ne poocha, hijaamat kya hai? Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne irshad farmaya: "Jin cheezon se log ilaaj karte hain yeh un mein se behtarin cheez hai."
It is narrated from Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "On the night of Miraj, every group of angels that I passed by said to me, 'O Muhammad! Get yourself cupped.'"
حضرت ابن عباس سے روایت ہے۔ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ارشاد فرمایا : ” معراج کی رات میں فرشتوں کی جماعتوں میں سے جس جماعت کے پاس سے بھی گزرا تو انھوں نے مجھے یہ ہی کہا۔ اے محمد (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) ! ضرور حجامت (پچھنے لگوائیں) کروائیں۔ “
Hazrat Ibn Abbas se riwayat hai. Kehte hain ke Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne irshad farmaya : ” Miraj ki raat mein farishton ki jamaaton mein se jis jamaat ke paas se bhi guzra to unhon ne mujhe ye hi kaha. Aye Muhammad (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ! Zaroor hajamat (peechhe lagwain) karwain. “
It is narrated on the authority of an Ansari of Banu Salimah who said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Treatment is in three things: in the incision of a cupping instrument, or in drinking honey, or in cauterization with fire, but I do not like to be cauterized." (Sahih al-Bukhari 5681)
بنو سلمہ کے ایک انصاری سے روایت ہے، کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ارشاد فرمایا : ” جن چیزوں کے ذریعہ تم علاج کرتے ہو اگر ان میں سے کسی چیز میں شفاء ہے تو وہ سینگی کے چیرنے میں ہے یا شہد کے پینے میں ہے یا آگ سے داغنے میں ہے۔ جو داغنا تکلیف کے موافق ہو۔ اور مجھے یہ بات پسند نہیں ہے کہ میں داغ لگواؤں۔ “
Bano Salma ke aik Ansaari se riwayat hai, kehte hain ke Rasul Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne irshad farmaya: "Jin cheezon ke zariye tum ilaj karte ho agar in mein se kisi cheez mein shifa hai to woh singi ke cheerne mein hai ya shahad ke peene mein hai ya aag se daagne mein hai. Jo daagna takleef ke muwafiq ho. Aur mujhe yeh baat pasand nahin hai ke main daagh lagwau."
It is narrated on the authority of Hazrat Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying: "If there is any good in your medicines, then it is in the incision of cupping, or in drinking honey, or in cauterization with fire that suits the ailment. But I do not like to be cauterized."
حضرت جابر بن عبداللہ سے روایت ہے، کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو یہ کہتے ہوئے سُنا : ” اگر تمہاری دواؤں میں سے کسی میں خیر ہے تو سینگی کے چیرے میں ہے یا شہد کے پینے میں ہے۔ یا آگ کے داغ لگانے میں ہے جو کہ بیماری کے موافق ہو۔ لیکن مجھے یہ بات پسند نہیں ہے کہ میں داغ لگواؤں۔
Hazrat Jabir bin Abdullah se riwayat hai, kehte hain ke maine Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ko ye kehte huye suna: "Agar tumhari dawaon mein se kisi mein khair hai to seengai ke cheere mein hai ya shahad ke peene mein hai. Ya aag ke daagh lagane mein hai jo ke bimari ke muwafiq ho. Lekin mujhe ye baat pasand nahin hai ke main daagh lagwaon."
