It is narrated on the authority of Hadrat Amr bin Shuaib (RA) that if someone is found in possession of stolen property, it would be taken away from him, he would be flogged, his head and beard would be shaved, all his belongings including his riding animal would be confiscated, his belongings would be set on fire, and he would never again receive a share from the spoils of war of the Muslims. He (the narrator) says that I have heard that the two Shaykhs (RA) used to do the same.
حضرت عمرو بن شعیب (رض) سے مروی ہے کہ اگر کسی شخص کے پاس خیانت کا مال ملتا تو اس سے لے لیا جاتا اور اس کو سوکوڑے مارے جاتے اور اس کا سر اور داڑھی مونڈھ دی جاتی اور اس کی سواری کے علاوہ سارا سامان ضبط کرلیا جاتا اور اس کے سامان کو آگ لگا دی جاتی اور وہ ہمیشہ کیلئے مسلمانوں کی غنیمت میں سے حصہ وصول نہیں کرے گا، فرماتے ہیں کہ مجھے یہ بات پہنچی ہے کہ حضرات شیخین (رض) اسی طرح کرتے تھے۔
Hazrat Amr bin Shoaib (RA) se marvi hai keh agar kisi shakhs ke pass khyanat ka maal milta to us se le liya jata aur us ko sau koray maare jate aur us ka sar aur darhi mound di jati aur us ki sawari ke ilawa sara saman zabt kar liya jata aur us ke saman ko aag laga di jati aur woh hamesha ke liye musalmanon ki ghanimat mein se hissa wasool nahi kare ga, farmate hain keh mujhe yeh baat pahunchi hai keh Hazrat Shaykhain (RA) isi tarah karte thay.
Hazrat Amr bin Aas (R.A) narrates that our companions used to say that the punishment for a traitor is that his tent and belongings should be burnt.
حضرت عمرو بن سالم (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ ہمارے اصحاب فرماتے تھے کہ خیانت کرنے والے کی سزا یہ ہے کہ اس کے خیمہ اور سامان کو جلا دیا جائے گا۔
Hazrat Amr bin Salem (RA) farmate hain ki hamare ashaab farmate thay ki khiyanat karne wale ki saza ye hai ki uske khaima aur saman ko jala diya jaye ga.
It is narrated from Hazrat Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "If you find someone committing treachery, then set his belongings on fire."
حضرت عمر (رض) سے مروی ہے کہ حضور اقدس (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ارشاد فرمایا : تم جس کو خیانت کرتے ہوئے پاؤ تو اس کے سامان کو آگ لگا دو ۔
Hazrat Umar (RA) se marvi hai keh Huzoor Aqdas (SAW) ne irshad farmaya: Tum jis ko khiyanat karte huye pao to us ke saman ko aag laga do.
