Hazrat Ata said that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was delivering a sermon and he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to the people: "Sit down!" Hazrat Abdullah bin Masood heard this. He was at the door at that time. So he sat down. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "O Abdullah! Come inside."
حضرت عطاء فرماتے ہیں کہ نبی کریم (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) خطبہ دے رہے تھے کہ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے لوگوں سے فرمایا : بیٹھ جاؤ ! حضرت عبداللہ بن مسعود نے یہ بات سُنی۔ اس وقت وہ دروازہ پر تھے۔ تو وہ بیٹھ گئے ۔ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا۔ اے عبداللہ ! اندر آ جاؤ۔
Hazrat Ata farmate hain keh Nabi Kareem (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) khutba de rahe the keh aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne logon se farmaya: Beth jao! Hazrat Abdullah bin Masood ne yeh baat suni. Iss waqt woh darwaze par the. Tou woh beth gaye. Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya: Aye Abdullah! Andar aa jao.
Hazrat Qais narrates that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was delivering a sermon and my father was present. So he stood in the sun in front of you (peace and blessings be upon him). You (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered about him, so he was shifted to the shade.
حضرت قیس فرماتے ہیں کہ نبی کریم (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) خطبہ ارشاد فرما رہے تھے کہ میرے والد حاضر ہوئے ۔ تو وہ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے سامنے سورج میں ہی کھڑے ہوگئے آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ان کے بارے میں حکم دیا تو انھیں سایہ کی طرف منتقل کیا گیا۔
Hazrat Qais farmate hain keh Nabi Kareem (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) khutba irshad farma rahe thay keh mere walid hazir huwe. Tou woh aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ke samne suraj mein hi kharay hogaye aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne unke bare mein hukum diya tou unhen saya ki taraf muntaqil kiya gaya.
Hazrat Ibn Sirin narrated that people used to ask permission from the Imam while he was on the pulpit. So when Ziyad was the Caliph and these requests became frequent, Ziyad said, 'Whoever puts his hand on his nose, then this will be (in place of) permission for him.'
حضرت ابن سیرین روایت کرتے ہیں کہ لوگ امام سے اجازت طلب کرتے تھے درانحالہک امام منبر پر ہوتا تھا۔ پس جب زیاد خلیفہ تھا اور یہ استئندان کثرت سے ہونے لگا تو زیاد نے کہا۔ جو شخص اپنا ہاتھ اپنے ناک پر رکھ لے تو یہ اس کو اجازت (کے قائم مقام) ہوگا۔
Hazrat Ibn Sireen riwayat karte hain ke log Imam se ijazat talab karte thay daran halake Imam mimbar par hota tha. Pas jab Ziyad khalifa tha aur ye istaidan kasrat se hone laga to Ziyad ne kaha. Jo shakhs apna hath apne nak par rakh le to ye usko ijazat (ke qaem maqam) hoga.
Hazrat Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that Hazrat Salik Ghufani (may Allah be pleased with him) arrived while the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was delivering a sermon. You (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked him: Have you prayed? He submitted: No! You (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Pray two rak'ahs with brevity.
And it has been narrated from (Imam) Abu Hanifa (may Allah have mercy on him) that: The Imam should not converse with anyone during his sermon.
حضرت جابر فرماتے ہیں کہ حضرت سلیک غطفانی تشریف لائے جبکہ نبی پاک (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) خطبہ ارشاد فرما رہے تھے۔ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ان سے پوچھا۔ تم نے نماز پڑھی ہے ؟ انھوں نے عرض کیا۔ نہیں ! آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا دو رکعتیں تخفیف کے ساتھ پڑھ لو۔
اور (امام) ابوحنیفہ کا قول یہ ذکر کیا گیا ہے کہ : امام اپنے خطبہ کے دوران کسی سے گفتگو نہیں کرے گا۔
Hazrat Jabir farmate hain keh Hazrat Sulaik Ghafani tashreef laye jabkeh Nabi Pak (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) khutba irshad farma rahe thay. Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne unse poocha. Tum ne namaz parhi hai? Unhon ne arz kiya. Nahi! Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya do rakat takhfeef ke sath parh lo.
Aur (Imam) Abu Hanifa ka qaul yeh zikar kiya gaya hai keh: Imam apne khutba ke doran kisi se guftagu nahi kare ga.
