Regarding the two rak'ahs of Fajr if one misses them
فِي رَكْعَتَيِ الْفَجْرِ إِذَا فَاتَتْهُ

Hazrat Qais bin Amr narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saw a man offering two rak'ahs of prayer after Fajr. He asked him, "Are there two Fajr prayers?" The man replied, "I did not offer the Sunnah prayers before the Fard of Fajr, so I am offering them now." Upon hearing this, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) remained silent.
حضرت قیس بن عمرو فرماتے ہیں کہ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ایک آدمی کو فجر کے بعد دو رکعتیں پڑھتے دیکھا تو اس سے فرمایا کہ کیا فجر کی نماز دو مرتبہ ہوتی ہے ؟ اس آدمی نے کہا کہ میں نے فجر کے فرضوں سے پہلے سنتیں نہیں پڑھی تھیں، اس لیے انھیں اب ادا کررہا ہوں۔ اس کی یہ بات سن کر نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے خاموشی اختیار فرمالی۔
Hazrat Qais bin Amr farmate hain keh Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne aik aadmi ko Fajr ke baad do rakatein parhte dekha to us se farmaya keh kya Fajr ki namaz do martaba hoti hai? Is aadmi ne kaha keh main ne Fajr ke farzon se pehle sunnatein nahin parhi thin, is liye unhein ab ada kar raha hun. Is ki yeh baat sunkar Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne khamoshi ikhtiyar farma li.
Hazrat Ata said that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) offered the Fajr prayer. After the prayer, a man stood up and offered two rak'ahs. You asked him what kind of rak'ahs were these? He said that when I came to the mosque, you were offering prayer. I had not prayed the two Sunnahs before Fajr, so I did not like to pray them during your prayer. When you finished the prayer, I offered them. Upon this, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) smiled and neither forbade him from anything nor commanded him anything.
حضرت عطاء فرماتے ہیں کہ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فجر کی نماز پڑھائی تو نماز کے بعد ایک آدمی نے کھڑے ہو کر دو رکعتیں ادا کیں۔ آپ نے اس سے پوچھا کہ یہ کیسی رکعتیں تھیں ؟ اس نے کہا کہ جب میں مسجد آیا تو آپ نماز پڑھا رہے تھے۔ میں نے فجر سے پہلے کی دو سنتیں نہیں پڑھی تھیں، میں نے آپ کی نماز کے دوران انھیں پڑھنا پسند نہ کیا۔ جب آپ نے نماز مکمل فرمالی تو پھر میں نے انھیں ادا کیا۔ اس پر نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) مسکرا دیئے اور انھیں نہ کسی بات سے منع کیا اور نہ کسی بات کا حکم دیا۔
Hazrat Ata farmate hain keh Nabi (SAW) ne fajar ki namaz parhai to namaz ke baad aik aadmi ne kharay ho kar do rakaten ada kin. Aap ne us se poocha keh ye kesi rakaten thin? Us ne kaha keh jab main masjid aaya to aap namaz parha rahe thay. Main ne fajar se pehle ki do sunnaten nahi parhi thin, main ne aap ki namaz ke doran unhen parhna pasand nahi kiya. Jab aap ne namaz mukammal farmai to phir main ne unhen ada kiya. Is par Nabi (SAW) muskura diye aur unhen na kisi baat se mana kiya aur na kisi baat ka hukum diya.
Once, Hazrat Ibn Umar arrived at the time of Fajr prayer while people were already praying. He had not yet prayed the Sunnah of Fajr. He joined the congregation, and then remained sitting in his place of prayer and made up those Rak'ahs at the time of Chasht.
حضرت ابن عمر ایک مرتبہ فجر کی نماز کے وقت آئے تو لوگ نماز پڑھ رہے تھے، آپ نے ابھی تک فجر کی سنتیں نہیں پڑھی تھیں۔ آپ جماعت کے ساتھ شامل ہوگئے، پھر نماز کی جگہ بیٹھے رہے اور چاشت کے وقت ان رکعتوں کی قضا کی۔
Hazrat Ibn Umar aik martaba fajar ki namaz ke waqt aye to log namaz parh rahe the, aap ne abhi tak fajar ki sunnatain nahi parhi thin. Aap jamaat ke sath shamil hogaye, phir namaz ki jaga baithe rahe aur chasht ke waqt in rakaton ki qaza ki.
