It is narrated on the authority of Hazrat Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Men will use prayer beads and women will clap their hands."
حضرت ابوہریرہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ارشاد فرمایا کہ مرد تسبیح کہیں گے اور عورتیں تالی بجائیں گی۔

It is narrated on the authority of Hadrat Abu Huraira that one day the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) led the prayer. When you stood up to say the takbeer, you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said that if the Shaytan makes me forget my prayer, then the men should say tasbeeh and the women should clap their hands.
حضرت ابوہریرہ سے روایت ہے کہ ایک دن نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے نماز پڑھائی، جب آپ تکبیر کہنے کے لیے کھڑے ہوئے تو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا کہ اگر شیطان مجھے میری نماز بھلا دے تو مرد تسبیح کہیں گے اور عورتیں تالی بجائیں گی۔
Hazrat Abu Huraira se riwayat hai ke aik din Nabi (SAW) ne namaz parhi, jab aap takbeer kehne ke liye khare hue to aap (SAW) ne farmaya ke agar shaitan mujhe meri namaz bhula de to mard tasbeeh kahenge aur auraten taali bajayengi.
It is narrated from Hazrat Sahl bin Saad that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said that men will recite tasbihs and women will clap their hands.
حضرت سہل بن سعد سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا کہ مرد تسبیح کہیں گے اور عورتیں تالی بجائیں گی۔
Hazrat Sahal bin Saad se riwayat hai keh Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya keh mard tasbeeh kahenge aur auratain taali bajayengi.
Hazrat Yazid says that I sought permission to meet Hazrat Ibn Abi Laila. He instructed his slave through prayer beads, and he opened the door for me.
حضرت یزید کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے حضرت ابن ابی لیلیٰ سے حاضری کی اجازت مانگی، انھوں نے تسبیح کے ذریعے اپنے غلام کو حکم دیا اور اس نے میرے لیے دروازہ کھول دیا۔
Hazrat Yazid kahte hain ke maine Hazrat Ibn e Abi Laila se hazri ki ijazat mangi, unhon ne tasbeeh ke zariye apne ghulam ko hukum diya aur us ne mere liye darwaza khol diya.
Hazrat Hassan narrates that a person sought permission to appear before Hazrat Jabir bin Abdullah (while he was praying). He (Hazrat Jabir) said the tasbih, so he entered and sat until he finished his prayer.
حضرت حسن فرماتے ہیں کہ ایک آدمی نے حضرت جابر بن عبداللہ سے حاضری کی اجازت مانگی (وہ نماز پڑھ رہے تھے) انھوں نے تسبیح کہی، چنانچہ وہ اندر آگیا اور ان کے نماز پورا کرنے تک بیٹھا رہا۔
Hazrat Hassan farmate hain keh aik aadmi ne Hazrat Jabir bin Abdullah se haziri ki ijazat mangi (woh namaz parh rahe thay) unhon ne tasbeeh kahi, chunancha woh andar agaya aur unke namaz poora karne tak baitha raha.
Ibn Abi Mulaika reported that he saw Umar bin Abdul Aziz praying. A man passed by him (while he was praying), so he (Umar bin Abdul Aziz) recited Tasbih (Subhana'Allah) after looking at him.
حضرت ابن ابی ملیکہ فرماتے ہیں کہ میں نے دیکھا کہ حضرت عمر بن عبدا لعزیز نماز پڑھ رہے تھے کہ ایک آدمی ان کے پاس سے گذرا انھوں نے اسے دیکھ کر تسبیح پڑھی۔
Hazrat Ibn e Abi Malika farmate hain ke maine dekha ke Hazrat Umar bin Abdul Aziz namaz parh rahe the ke ek aadmi unke pass se guzara unhon ne use dekh kar tasbeeh parhi.
Prophet Abraham said that if a man is praying in a room, then it is permissible for him to use prayer beads, and for a woman, it is permissible to clap.
حضرت ابراہیم فرماتے ہیں کہ اگر مرد کمرے میں نماز پڑھ رہا ہو تو اس کی اجازت تسبیح ہے اور عورت کی اجازت تالی بجانا ہے۔
Hazrat Ibrahim farmate hain keh agar mard kamre mein namaz parh raha ho to us ki ijazat tasbeeh hai aur aurat ki ijazat taali bajana hai.
"Hazrat Yazid bin Abi Ziyad said that I went to meet Hazrat Salim bin Abi Al-Ja'd, he was offering prayer, he said Subhan Allah. When he finished the prayer, he said that men will say Tasbeeh and women will clap their hands."
حضرت یزید بن ابی زیاد فرماتے ہیں کہ میں حضرت سالم بن ابی جعد سے ملاقات کے لیے حاضر ہوا، وہ نماز پڑھ رہے تھے، انھوں نے سبحان اللہ کہا۔ جب وہ نماز سے فارغ ہوئے تو انھوں نے فرمایا کہ مرد تسبیح کہیں گے اور عورتیں تالی بجائیں گی۔
Hazrat Yazid bin Abi Ziyad farmate hain keh mein Hazrat Salim bin Abi Ja'ad se mulaqat ke liye haazir hua, woh namaz parh rahe the, unhon ne Subhan Allah kaha. Jab woh namaz se farigh huye to unhon ne farmaya keh mard tasbeeh kahenge aur auraten taali bajayengi.
It is narrated from Hazrat Jabir that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said that men will use prayer beads (tasbeeh) and women will use knuckles (for counting dhikr).
حضرت جابر سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا کہ مرد تسبیح کہیں گے اور عورتیں تالی بجائیں گی۔
Hazrat Jabir se riwayat hai keh Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya keh mard tasbeeh kahen ge aur auratain taali bajayen gi.
Hazrat Ali says that whenever I wished to be in the presence of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and you were offering prayer, you would clear your throat (to signal your awareness of my presence).
حضرت علی فرماتے ہیں کہ اگر کبھی میں حضور (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کی خدمت میں حاضری چاہتا اور آپ نماز پڑھ رہے ہوتے تو آپ گلا کھنکھار دیتے تھے۔
Hazrat Ali farmate hain keh agar kabhi main Huzoor (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ki khidmat mein hazri chahta aur aap namaz parh rahe hote toh aap gala khankhar dete thay.
