Hazrat Abu Layla narrates that I offered prayer with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). You (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) were offering the Tahajjud prayer at night. You recited a verse and then said, "I seek refuge in Allah from Hellfire, and destruction is for the people of Hellfire."
حضرت ابو لیلیٰ فرماتے ہیں کہ میں نے نبی کریم (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے ساتھ نماز پڑھی۔ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) رات کو نفل نماز پڑھ رہے تھے، آپ نے ایک آیت پڑھی تو اس کے بعد فرمایا ” میں جہنم سے اللہ کی پناہ مانگتا ہوں اور جہنم والوں کے لیے ہلاکت ہے “
Hazrat Abu Laila farmate hain ke maine Nabi Kareem (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ke sath namaz parhi. Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) raat ko nafl namaz parh rahe the, aap ne ek ayat parhi to uske baad farmaya “main jahannam se Allah ki panaah mangta hun aur jahannam walon ke liye halaakat hai“
Hazrat Masruq narrates that Hazrat Aisha recited this verse: { فَمَنَّ اللَّهُ عَلَیْنَا وَوَقَانَا عَذَابَ السَّمُومِ } (So Allah bestowed His favor upon us and saved us from the punishment of the blazing Fire). After reciting this, she said, "O Allah! Bestow Your favor upon us and protect us from the punishment of Hellfire. Indeed, You are the Most Kind and the Most Merciful." It was asked from Hazrat Amash, "Did she say this prayer in Salah?" He replied, "Yes, in Salah."
حضرت مسروق فرماتے ہیں کہ حضرت عائشہ نے یہ آیت پڑھی { فَمَنَّ اللَّہُ عَلَیْنَا وَوَقَانَا عَذَابَ السَّمُومِ } اس کے بعد فرمایا ” اے اللہ ! ہم پر احسان فرما اور ہمیں جہنم کے عذاب سے محفوظ فرما، بیشک تو بھلائی کرنے والا اور رحم کرنے والا ہے “ حضرت اعمش سے پوچھا گیا کہ کیا انھوں نے یہ دعا نماز میں کی تھی، انھوں نے فرمایا ہاں نماز میں کی تھی۔
Hazrat Masrooq farmate hain ke Hazrat Ayesha ne yeh ayat parhi { Famanallah o alaina wa waqana azabas samoom } Iss ke baad farmaya “ Aye Allah ! Hum per ehsan farma aur humain jahanum ke azab se mehfooz farma, beshak tu bhalai karne wala aur reham karne wala hai “ Hazrat Aamash se poocha gaya ke kya unhon ne yeh dua namaz mein ki thi, unhon ne farmaya haan namaz mein ki thi.
Hazrat Ubaad bin Hamzah (R.A) narrates that I visited Hazrat Asma (R.A). She was reciting this verse: {So Allah bestowed His Favors on us and saved us from the torment of the Fire}. She paused on this verse and began to seek refuge with Allah and started praying. Hazrat Ubaad (R.A) says that I went to the market. I returned after finishing my work, she was still seeking refuge and praying.
حضرت عباد بن حمزہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں حضرت اسماء کے پاس حاضر ہوا، وہ اس آیت کی تلاوت کر رہی تھیں { فَمَنَّ اللَّہُ عَلَیْنَا وَوَقَانَا عَذَابَ السَّمُومِ } اس آیت پر وہ ٹھہر گئیں اور اللہ تعالیٰ سے پناہ مانگنے لگیں اور دعا کرنے لگیں۔ حضرت عباد کہتے ہیں کہ میں بازار چلا گیا، میں اپنی ضرورت پوری کر کے واپس آیا تو وہ پھر بھی پناہ مانگ رہی تھیں اور دعا کر رہی تھیں۔
Hazrat Abbad bin Hamza kahte hain ke main Hazrat Asma ke pass hazir hua, wo is ayat ki tilawat kar rahi thin { } is ayat par wo theher gayin aur Allah ta'ala se panah mangne lagin aur dua karne lagin. Hazrat Abbad kahte hain ke main bazaar chala gaya, main apni zaroorat poori kar ke wapas aya to wo phir bhi panah mang rahi thin aur dua kar rahi thin.
Hazrat Abdullah narrates that when someone comes across the mention of hell in prayer, they should seek refuge from hell, and when they come across the mention of paradise, they should ask Allah for paradise.
حضرت عبداللہ فرماتے ہیں کہ جب کوئی نماز میں جہنم کے ذکر سے گذرے تو جہنم سے پناہ مانگے اور جب جنت کے ذکر سے گذرے تو اللہ سے جنت کا سوال کرے۔
Hazrat Abdullah farmate hain ke jab koi namaz mein jahannam ke zikar se guzre to jahannam se panah mange aur jab jannat ke zikar se guzre to Allah se jannat ka sawal kare.
Hazrat Hassan did not see any harm in a person asking a question when he came across a verse. Hazrat Ibn Sirin considered it a disliked thought.
حضرت حسن اس بات میں کوئی حرج نہیں سمجھتے تھے کہ آدمی جب کسی آیت پر سے گذرے تو اس کے مطابق سوال کرے۔ حضرت ابن سیرین اسے مکروہ خیال فرماتے تھے۔
Hazrat Hassan is baat mein koi harj nahin samajhte thay keh aadmi jab kisi aayat par se guzre to uske mutabiq sawal kare. Hazrat Ibn Sireen ise makrooh khayaal farmate thay.
Hazrat Huzaifa narrates that I offered prayer with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). When you recited a verse of glorification, you would glorify Allah, the Exalted. When you recited a verse of supplication, you would supplicate, and when you recited a verse seeking refuge, you would seek refuge with Allah.
حضرت حذیفہ فرماتے ہیں کہ میں نے نبی کریم حضور (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے ساتھ نماز پڑھی، جب آپ کسی آیت تسبیح کو پڑھتے تو اللہ تعالیٰ کی تسبیح بیان کرتے، جب کسی دعا کی آیت کو پڑھتے تو دعا مانگتے اور جب پناہ مانگنے کی آیت پڑھتے تو اللہ سے پناہ مانگتے۔
Hazrat Huzaifa farmate hain ke maine Nabi Kareem Huzoor (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ke sath namaz parhi, jab aap kisi ayat tasbeeh ko parhte to Allah Ta'ala ki tasbeeh bayan karte, jab kisi dua ki ayat ko parhte to dua mangte aur jab panah mangne ki ayat parhte to Allah se panah mangte.
