Book of Oaths, Vows, and Expiations
١١-
كِتَابُ الْأَيْمَانِ وَالنُّذُورِ وَالْكَفَّارَاتِ
Who said: I swear or I swear by Allah, and for Allah I have a vow, both are the same
مَنْ قَالَ: أُقْسِمُ أَوْ أُقْسِمُ بِاللَّهِ وَلِلَّهِ عَلَيَّ نَذْرٌ سَوَاءٌ

Prophet Ibrahim said it is the same whether a person says, "I swear" or says, "I swear by Allah," that "Hajj is obligatory upon me" or "Hajj for the sake of Allah is obligatory upon me," or "I have a vow upon me" or "I have a vow for the sake of Allah upon me."
حضرت ابراہیم فرماتے ہیں کہ برابر ہے کوئی شخص یوں کہے کہ میں قسم کھاتا ہوں یا یوں کہے کہ میں اللہ کی قسم کھاتا ہوں کہ مجھ پر حج ہے اور مجھ پر اللہ کے لیے حج ہے یا مجھ پر نذر ہے یا مجھ پر اللہ کے لیے نذر ہے۔
Hazrat Ibrahim farmate hain ki barabar hai koi shaks yun kahe ki mein qasam khata hun ya yun kahe ki mein Allah ki qasam khata hun ki mujh par Hajj hai aur mujh par Allah ke liye Hajj hai ya mujh par nazr hai ya mujh par Allah ke liye nazr hai.
الْفَضْلُ بْنُ دُكَيْنٍ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ طَلْحَةَ ، عَنْ حَمَّادٍ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، " سَوَاءٌ عَلَى الرَّجُلِ أَنْ يَقُولَ : أُقْسِمُ ، أَوْ أُقْسِمُ بِاللَّهِ ، أَوْ عَلَيَّ حَجَّةٌ ، أَوْ حَجَّةٌ عَلَيَّ ، أَوْ عَلَيَّ نَذْرٌ لِلَّهِ "
