Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 12859
It is narrated on the authority of Hazrat Ibn Abbas that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) has permitted the wearing of this dyed cloth for the Muhrim in which some color has faded and there is no effect of fragrance in it.
حضرت ابن عباس سے مروی ہے کہ حضور اقدس (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے محرم کے لیے اس رنگے ہوئے کپڑے کو پہننے کی اجازت دی ہے جس کچھ رنگ اتر چکا ہو اور اس میں خوشبو کا اثر بھی نہ ہو۔
Hazrat Ibn Abbas se marvi hai keh Huzoor Aqdas (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne Muharram ke liye is range hue kapre ko pehenne ki ijazat di hai jis kach rang utar chuka ho aur is mein khushbu ka asar bhi na ho.
أَبُو بَكْرٍ قَالَ : ثنا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ ، عَنْ حَجَّاجٍ ، عَنْ خُصَيْفٍ ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، « أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ رَخَّصَ فِي الثَّوْبِ الْمَصْبُوغِ لِلْمُحْرِمِ ، مَا لَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ لَعَصٌ وَلَا رَدْعٌ »
