كِتَابُ الْبُيُوعِ وَالْأَقْضِيَةِ
On a man buying something without looking at it, who said: He has the choice when he sees it, if he wishes, he can take it, and if he wishes, he can leave it
فِي الرَّجُلِ يَشْتَرِي الشَّيْءَ وَلَا يَنْظُرُ إِلَيْهِ مَنْ قَالَ: هُوَ بِالْخِيَارِ إِذَا رَآهُ إِنْ شَاءَ أَخَذَ، وَإِنْ شَاءَ تَرَكَ

Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 19977
It is narrated from Hazrat Mukhaul that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said that when a person buys something without seeing it and it is hidden from him, then after seeing it he has the option to either keep it or leave it.
حضرت مکحول سے روایت ہے کہ حضور (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ارشاد فرمایا کہ جب کوئی آدمی کسی چیز کو اس طرح خریدے کہ اس کو دیکھا نہ ہو اور وہ چیز اس سے غائب ہو تو دیکھنے کے بعد اسے اختیار ہے کہ چاہے تو لے لے اور اگر چاہے تو چھوڑ دے۔
Hazrat Makhool se riwayat hai ki Huzoor (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne irshad farmaya ki jab koi aadmi kisi cheez ko is tarah khareeday ki usko dekha na ho aur woh cheez usse ghaib ho to dekhne ke baad use ikhtiyar hai ki chahe to le le aur agar chahe to chhor de.
نَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ مَكْحُولٍ ، رَفَعَهُ قَالَ : « إِذَا اشْتَرَى الرَّجُلُ الشَّيْءَ وَلَمْ يَنْظُرْ إِلَيْهِ غَائِبًا عَنْهُ ، فَهُوَ بِالْخِيَارِ إِذَا نَظَرَ إِلَيْهِ ، إِنْ شَاءَ أَخَذَ وَإِنْ شَاءَ تَرَكَ »
