كِتَابُ الْبُيُوعِ وَالْأَقْضِيَةِ
Who said: 'If the two disputants agree on one person’s statement, it is binding on both.'
مَنْ قَالَ: إِذَا رَضِيَ الْخَصْمَانِ بِقَوْلِ رَجُلٍ، جَازَ عَلَيْهِمَا
Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 22899
It is narrated on the authority of Ibn Sirin that two persons came to Hadrat Ubaydah while they were quarrelling. You asked them, "Do you both agree to accept my judgment and decision?" They said, "Yes." So you gave a judgment between them.
حضرت ابن سیرین سے مروی ہے کہ دو شخص جھگڑتے ہوئے حضرت عبیدہ کے پاس آئے، آپ نے ان سے دریافت کیا کہ کیا تم دونوں مجھے اپنا حکم اور فیصل تسلیم کرتے ہو ؟ انھوں نے کہا جی ہاں، پھر آپ نے ان دونوں کے درمیان فیصلہ فرما دیا۔
Hazrat Ibn Sireen se marvi hai keh do shakhs jhagrte huye Hazrat Ubaidah ke pass aaye, aap ne un se daryaft kya keh kya tum donon mujhe apna hukm aur faisla tasleem karte ho? Unhon ne kaha ji han, phir aap ne un donon ke darmiyan faisla farma diya.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنِ عَاصِمٍ الْأَحولِ ، عَنِ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ ، قَالَ : جَاءَ رَجُلَانِ يَخْتَصِمَانِ إِلَى عَبِيدَةَ ، فَقَالَ : « تُؤَمِّرَانِي عَلَيْكُمَا ؟» قَالَا : نَعَمْ ، فَقَضَى بَيْنَهُمَا
