Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 30989
It is narrated from the people that I heard Hazrat Nauman bin Bashir (R.A) saying that my respected father gave me some wealth, so my mother, Amra bint Rawaha, said that I will not be pleased until you make the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) a witness to it, so he went to the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and said, 'O Messenger of Allah! I have given some wealth to the son of Umrah, she says that I should make you a witness to it.' He asked, 'Have you given the same amount of wealth to each of your children?' He said, 'No!' You said, 'Fear Allah and treat your children equally.' It is said that he came back and took back his wealth.
شعبی فرماتے ہیں کہ میں نے حضرت نعمان بن بشیر (رض) کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا کہ میرے والد محترم نے مجھے کچھ مال دیا تو میری والدہ عمرہ بنت رواحہ نے فرمایا کہ میں اس وقت تک راضی نہیں ہوں گی جب تک آپ اس پر نبی کریم (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو گواہ نہ بنالیں، چنانچہ وہ نبی کریم (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے پاس پہنچے اور عرض کیا یا رسول اللہ ! میں نے عمرہ کے بیٹے کو کچھ مال دیا ہے، وہ کہتی ہے کہ میں آپ کو اس پر گواہ بناؤں، آپ نے پوچھا کہ کیا تم نے اتنا مال اپنے ہر بچے کو دیا ہے ؟ وہ فرمانے لگے کہ نہیں ! آپ نے ارشاد فرمایا کہ ” اللہ سے ڈرو اور اپنے بچوں کے درمیان برابری کیا کرو “ فرماتے ہیں انھوں نے واپس آ کر اپنا مال واپس لے لیا۔
Shabi farmate hain ke maine Hazrat Noman bin Bashir (RA) ko yeh farmate huye suna ke mere walid mohtaram ne mujhe kuch maal diya to meri walida Umra bint Rawahane farmaya ke main us waqt tak razi nahi hongi jab tak aap is par Nabi Kareem (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ko gawaah na bana len, chunancha woh Nabi Kareem (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ke paas pahunche aur arz kiya Ya Rasulullah ! mainne Umra ke bete ko kuch maal diya hai, woh kehti hai ke main aap ko is par gawaah banaun, aap ne poocha ke kya tumne itna maal apne har bache ko diya hai ? woh farmane lage ke nahi ! aap ne irshad farmaya ke ” Allah se daro aur apne bachon ke darmiyan barabari karo “ farmate hain unhon ne wapas aa kar apna maal wapas le liya.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبَّادٌ ، عَنْ حُصَيْنٍ ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ " النُّعْمَانَ بْنَ بَشِيرٍ يَقُولُ : أَعْطَانِي أَبِي عَطِيَّةً ، فَقَالَتْ أُمِّي عَمْرَةُ ابْنَةُ رَوَاحَةَ : فَلَا أَرْضَى حَتَّى تُشْهِدَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ ، فَأَتَى رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، إِنِّي أَعْطَيْتَ ابْنَ عَمْرَةَ عَطِيَّةً ، فَأَمَرَتْنِي أَنْ أُشْهِدَكَ ، فَقَالَ : « أَعْطَيْتَ كُلَّ وَلَدِكَ مِثْلَ هَذَا ؟»، قَالَ : لَا ، قَالَ : « اتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَاعْدِلُوا بَيْنَ أَوْلَادِكُمْ »، قَالَ : فَرَجَعَ فَرَدَّ عَطِيَّتَهُ
