Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that when we used to find fruits and honey during Jihad, we would eat them there and then. We would not take them to the place of distribution of spoils of war.

حضرت ابن عمر (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ ہمیں جہاد کے دوران پھل اور شہد ملتے تو ہم اس کو کھالیا کرتے اس کو تقسیم غنیمت کی جگہ پر لے کر نہ جاتے۔

Hazrat Ibn Umar (RA) farmate hain ke humein jihad ke doran phal aur shahad milte to hum is ko khaliya karte is ko taqsim ghanimat ki jaga par le kar na jate.

حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالَ : ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ : كُنَّا « نُصِيبُ فِي مَغَازِينَا الْفَاكِهَةَ ، وَالْعَسَلَ فَنَأْكُلُهُ ، وَلَا نَرْفَعُهُ »
