Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 36766
Narrated Ibn Umar: I was presented to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) on the day of Uhud when I was fourteen years old. He considered me too young. Then I was presented to him (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) on the day of the Trench when I was fifteen years old, and he allowed me (to participate in Jihad). Nafi said: I narrated this hadith to Umar bin Abdul Aziz, whereupon he said: "This (age limit) is the dividing line between a minor and an adult." He then wrote to his governor to fix the share of the fifteen-year-old with the fighters and that of the fourteen-year-old with the children.
حضرت ابن عمر سے روایت ہے۔ مجھے احد کے دن نبی کریم (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کی خدمت میں پیش کیا گیا ۔ جبکہ میری عمر چودہ سال کی تھی۔ تو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے مجھے چھوٹا سمجھا اور (پھر) مجھے آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) پر خندق کے دن پیش کیا گیا۔ جبکہ میری عمر پندرہ سال کی تھی۔ تو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے مجھے (شرکتِ جہاد کی) اجازت مرحمت فرما دی۔ حضرت نافع کہتے ہیں۔ میں نے یہ حدیث حضرت عمر بن عبد العزیز کو بیان فرمائی تو انھوں نے کہا : یہ (مقدارِ عمر) چھوٹے، بڑے کے درمیان حد فاصل ہے۔ پھر انھوں نے اپنے عامل کو یہ تحریر لکھ کر بھیجی کہ پندرہ سال والے کے لیے مقاتلین میں اور چودہ سال والے کے لیے ذریۃ میں حصہ مقرر کریں۔
Hazrat Ibn Umar se riwayat hai. Mujhe Uhad ke din Nabi Kareem (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ki khidmat mein pesh kiya gaya. Jabke meri umar chaudah saal ki thi. To aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne mujhe chhota samjha aur (phir) mujhe aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) par Khandaq ke din pesh kiya gaya. Jabke meri umar pandrah saal ki thi. To aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne mujhe (shirkat-e-jihad ki) ijazat marhamat farma di. Hazrat Nafi kahte hain. Maine yeh hadees Hazrat Umar bin Abdul Aziz ko bayan farmaayi to unhon ne kaha: Yeh (miqdar-e-umar) chhote, bade ke darmiyan had fasil hai. Phir unhon ne apne aamil ko yeh tahrir likh kar bheji ki pandrah saal wale ke liye muqatilین mein aur chaudah saal wale ke liye zariah mein hissa muqarrar karen.
عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ إِدْرِيسَ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : « عُرِضْتُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ ⦗ص:٣٦٩⦘ يَوْمَ أُحُدٍ وَأَنَا ابْنُ أَرْبَعَ عَشْرَةَ فَاسْتَصْغَرَنِي ، وَعُرِضْتُ عَلَيْهِ يَوْمَ الْخَنْدَقِ وَأَنَا ابْنُ خَمْسَ عَشْرَةَ فَأَجَازَنِي » ، قَالَ نَافِعٌ : فَحَدَّثْتُ بِهِ عُمَرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ، فَقَالَ : هَذَا حَدٌّ بَيْنَ الصَّغِيرِ وَالْكَبِيرِ ، فَكَتَبَ إِلَى عُمَّالِهِ أَنْ يَفْرِضُوا لِابْنِ خَمْسَ عَشْرَةَ فِي الْمُقَاتِلَةِ ، وَلِابْنِ أَرْبَعَ عَشْرَةَ فِي الذُّرِّيَّةِ "
