‌كِتَابُ صَلَاةِ التَّطَوُّعِ وَالْإِمَامَةِ وَأَبْوَابٌ مُتَفَرِّقَةٌ

Regarding His saying: 'Establish the prayer at the decline of the sun' [Quran 17:78]

‌فِي قَوْلِهِ تَعَالَى: ﴿أَقِمِ الصَّلَاةَ لِدُلُوكِ الشَّمْسِ﴾ [

Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 6274

Hazrat Ibn Abbas narrates that in the command of Allah Almighty {Establish prayer at the decline of the sun}, the decline of the sun means its setting.

حضرت ابن عباس فرماتے ہیں کہ فرمانِ باری تعالیٰ { أَقِمِ الصَّلاَۃ لِدُلُوکِ الشَّمْسِ } میں دلوک شمس سے مراد اس کا غروب ہونا ہے۔

Hazrat Ibn Abbas farmate hain keh farman e bari tala 'aqimis salata liduloki shamsi' mein dulook e shams se murad is ka ghuroob hona hai

حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ : ﴿ أَقِمِ الصَّلَاةَ لِدُلُوكِ الشَّمْسِ إِلَى غَسَقِ اللَّيْلِ ﴾ [ الإسراء : ٧٨ ] قَالَ : " دُلُوكُهَا : غُرُوبُهَا "
