كِتَابُ صَلَاةِ التَّطَوُّعِ وَالْإِمَامَةِ وَأَبْوَابٌ مُتَفَرِّقَةٌ Regarding His saying: 'Establish the prayer at the decline of the sun' [Quran 17:78]
فِي قَوْلِهِ تَعَالَى: ﴿أَقِمِ الصَّلَاةَ لِدُلُوكِ الشَّمْسِ﴾ [

Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 6273
Hazrat Ibn Umar narrates that Dhuluk Shams means the declination of the sun towards the west after noon.
حضرت ابن عمر فرماتے ہیں کہ دلوک شمس سے مراد نصفِ نہار کے بعد سورج کا مغرب کی طرف میلان ہے۔
Hazrat Ibn Umar farmate hain ke dhaluk shams se murad nisf-e-nihar ke baad suraj ka maghrib ki taraf maylan hai.
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : " دُلُوكُ الشَّمْسِ : مَيْلُهَا بَعْدَ نِصْفِ النَّهَارِ "
