Who said: The traveler combines two prayers

Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 8232
Hafs ibn Ubayd Allah ibn Anas narrates that we used to travel with Anas ibn Malik. When the sun would set, and he was at a stage (of the journey), he would not ride (again) before praying 'Asr. And when we would depart (a place) and the time for 'Asr would enter, he would pray 'Asr. If, before sunset, we would depart from a stage (of the journey), we would say to him, "The time for prayer is about to enter." He would say, "Keep moving." Then, when the combined time for the two prayers would arrive, he would dismount and offer both the Zuhr and 'Asr prayers. Then, he would say, "I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) doing the same."
حضرت حفص بن عبیداللہ بن انس کہتے ہیں کہ ہم حضرت انس بن مالک کے ساتھ سفر کیا کرتے تھے، جب سورج زائل ہوجاتا اور وہ کسی منزل پر ہوتے تو عصر پڑھنے سے پہلے سوار نہ ہوتے تھے اور جب کوچ کرجاتے اور عصر کا وقت ہوجاتا تو عصر کی نماز پڑھا کرتے تھے۔ اگر زوال شمس سے پہلے وہ کسی منزل سے کوچ کرتے تو ہم ان سے کہتے کہ نماز کا وقت ہونے والا ہے۔ وہ فرماتے کہ چلتے رہو۔ پھر جب دونوں نمازوں کا درمیانی وقت آتا تو اترتے اور ظہر اور عصر کی نماز کو ادا فرماتے۔ پھر فرماتے ہیں میں نے رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو بھی یونہی کرتے دیکھا ہے۔
Hazrat Hafs bin Ubaidullah bin Anas kehte hain ke hum Hazrat Anas bin Malik ke sath safar karte the, jab sooraj zael hojata aur woh kisi منزل par hote toh Asar padhne se pehle sawar na hote the aur jab کوچ karjate aur Asar ka waqt hojata toh Asar ki namaz parha karte the. Agar zawal shams se pehle woh kisi منزل se کوچ karte toh hum unse kehte ke namaz ka waqt hone wala hai. Woh farmate ke chalte raho. Phir jab donon namazon ka darmiyani waqt aata toh utarte aur Zuhr aur Asar ki namaz ko ada farmate. Phir farmate hain mainne Rasul Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ko bhi yunhi karte dekha hai.
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنْ حَفْصِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ ، قَالَ : كُنَّا نُسَافِرُ مَعَ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، فَكَانَ إِذَا زَالَتِ الشَّمْسُ وَهُوَ فِي مَنْزِلٍ لَمْ يَرْكَبْ حَتَّى يُصَلِّيَ الظُّهْرَ ، فَإِذَا رَاحَ فَحَضَرَتْ صَلَاةُ الْعَصْرِ فَإِنْ سَارَ مِنْ مَنْزِلِهِ قَبْلَ أَنْ تَزُولَ فَحَضَرَتِ الصَّلَاةُ ، قُلْنَا لَهُ : الصَّلَاةُ ، فَيَقُولُ : سِيرُوا ، « حَتَّى إِذَا كَانَ بَيْنَ الصَّلَاتَيْنِ نَزَلَ فَجَمَعَ بَيْنَ الظُّهْرِ وَالْعَصْرِ »، ثُمَّ يَقُولُ : « رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِذَا وَصَلَ ضَحْوَتَهُ بِرَوْحَتِهِ صَنَعَ هَكَذَا »
