Jami` at-Tirmidhi 3519
A man from Banu Sulaim narrated the Apostle of Allah ( صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) counted them out in my hand, or in his hand, Tasbih is half of the Scale, and and ( ِ َّ ِالْحَمْدُ َّلل) ‘All praise is due to Allah’ fills it and Takbīr fills what is between the sky and the earth, and fasting is half of patience, and purification is half of Iman.’ Imam Tirmidhi said, this Hadith is Hasan. Shubah and Sufyan Ath-Thawri also reported it from Abu Is-haq.

بنی سلیم کے ایک شخص کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے میرے ہاتھ کی انگلیوں یا اپنے ہاتھ کی انگلیوں پر گن کر بتایا کہ «سبحان الله» نصف میزان رہے گا اور «الحمد لله» اس پورے پلڑے کو بھر دے گا اور «الله أكبر» آسمان و زمین کے درمیان کی ساری جگہوں کو بھر دے گا، روزہ آدھا ہے، اور پاکی نصف ایمان ہے۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: یہ حدیث حسن ہے اور اس حدیث کو شعبہ اور سفیان ثوری نے ابواسحاق سے روایت کیا ہے۔
Bani Salim ke aik shakhs kehte hain ke Rasool Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne mere hath ki angliyon ya apne hath ki angliyon par gun kar bataya ke «Subhan Allah» nishf meezan rahe ga aur «Alhamdulillah» is poori palde ko bhar de ga aur «Allahu Akbar» aasman o zamin ke darmiyaan ki sari jagahon ko bhar de ga, roza aada hai, aur paki nishf emaan hai. Imam Tirmidhi kehte hain: yeh hadees hasan hai aur is hadees ko Shub'ah aur Sufiyan Thauri ne Abu Ishaq se riwayat kiya hai.
حَدَّثَنَا هَنَّادٌ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْأَحْوَصِ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاق، عَنْ جُرَيٍّ النَّهْدِيِّ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ بَنِي سُلَيْمٍ، قَالَ: عَدَّهُنَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي يَدِي أَوْ فِي يَدِهِ، التَّسْبِيحُ نِصْفُ الْمِيزَانِ، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ يَمْلَؤُهُ، وَالتَّكْبِيرُ يَمْلَأُ مَا بَيْنَ السَّمَاءِ وَالْأَرْضِ، وَالصَّوْمُ نِصْفُ الصَّبْرِ، وَالطُّهُورُ نِصْفُ الْإِيمَانِ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى: هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ، وَقَدْ رَوَاهُ شُعْبَةُ، وَسُفْيَانُ الثَّوْرِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاق.
