Abdullah bin Tha'laba (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that on the occasion of the Battle of Uhud, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Wrap the martyrs in their own clothes." Then the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) began to bury several people in one grave and would say, "Lower the one amongst them who memorized the most Quran first."

حضرت عبداللہ بن ثعلبہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ غزوہ احد کے موقع پر نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا کہ شہداء کو ان ہی کے کپڑوں میں لپیٹ دو پھر نبی کریم ﷺ ایک ایک قبر میں کئی کئی لوگوں کو دفن کرنے لگے اور فرماتے جاتے تھے کہ ان میں سے جس شخص کو قرآن سب سے زیادہ یاد رہا ہوا سے پہلے قبر میں اتار دو۔
Hazrat Abdullah bin Sa'laba raziallahu anhu se marvi hai ki Ghazwah Uhud ke mauqe par Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya ki shuhada ko un hi ke kapdon mein lapet do phir Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ek ek qabar mein kai kai logon ko dafan karne lage aur farmate jate the ki in mein se jis shakhs ko Quran sab se ziada yaad raha hua se pehle qabar mein utar do.
Narrated Abdullah bin Tha'laba (RA): The Prophet (ﷺ) went to the martyrs of Uhud and said, "I bear witness that they (the martyrs) are alive and receive provision from their Lord. They are well aware by the fragrance of Paradise, which Allah has bestowed on them, of the people coming after them. One of them said, "O Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)! Would you not intercede for us with our Lord?" The Prophet (ﷺ) replied, "I will be ahead of you (to intercede for you). " They said, "What more do we desire after this?" (The Prophet (ﷺ) added), "Allah will resurrect him in the state that blood will be flowing from his wounds, its color will be the color of blood, but its smell will be like the fragrance of musk." The Prophet (ﷺ) was asked, "O Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)! How shall we recognize those of our companions (Muslims) who did not participate in the battles of Badr and Uhud?" He replied, "They will be in the company of the best of the two groups (i.e. the emigrants and the Helpers)." They (the Companions) said, "What about us, O Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)?" He replied, "You (will be in our company) and then you will intercede (for others) and they will be admitted (to Paradise) and you will wait for those who will come after you and you will be on the tanks in Paradise." The Prophet (ﷺ) was asked, "What are the tanks?" He replied, "They are made of pearls and rubies."

حضرت عبداللہ بن ثعلبہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ شہداء احد کے پاس تشریف لائے تو فرمایا کہ میں ان کے متعلق گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ جو شخص اللہ کے راستہ میں زخمی ہوا تو قیامت کے دن اللہ اسے اس حال میں اٹھائے گا کہ اس کے زخم سے خون رس رہا ہوگا جس کا رنگ تو خون کا ہوگا لیکن مہک اس کی مشک جیسی ہوگی دیکھو! ان میں سے جسے قرآن سب سے زیادہ حاصل رہا ہو اسے ان سے پہلے قبر میں رکھو۔

It is narrated on the authority of Abdullah bin Tha'laba (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came to the martyrs of Uhud and said: I bear witness that they should be wrapped in their shrouds with their wounds and blood.

حضرت عبداللہ بن ثعلبہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ شہداء احد کے پاس تشریف لائے تو فرمایا کہ میں ان کے متعلق گواہی دیتا ہوں انہیں ان کے زخموں اور خون کے ساتھ ہی کفن میں لپیٹ دو۔

It is narrated on the authority of Abdullah bin Tha'labah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came to the martyrs of Uhud and said: “Wrap them in their shrouds with their blood, for I will bear witness for them.” So two or three men were buried in one grave. And the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would say: “See! Of these, whoever had memorized more of the Quran should be placed in the grave first.” So my father and uncle were buried in the same grave.

حضرت عبداللہ بن ثعلبہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ شہداء احد کے پاس تشریف لائے تو فرمایا کہ میں انہیں ان کے خون کے ساتھ ہی کفن میں لپیٹ دو میں ان کے متعلق گواہی دوں گا پھر ایک ایک قبر میں دو دو تین تین آدمیوں کو دفنایا گیا اور نبی کریم ﷺ فرمانے لگے دیکھو! ان میں سے جسے قرآن سب سے زیادہ حاصل رہا ہو اسے ان سے پہلے قبر میں رکھو چناچہ میرے والد اور چچا ایک ہی قبر میں دفنائے گئے تھے۔

Narrated Abdullah bin Tha'labah (RA): Abu Jahl, on the day of Uhud, invoked Allah saying, "O Allah! He has severed ties of kinship and has brought us something we do not recognize, so be merciful to us tomorrow." It was as if he was praying for victory.

حضرت عبداللہ بن ثعلبہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ابوجہل نے جنگ احد کے دن یہ دعا کی کہ اے اللہ! اس نے قطع رحمی کی اور ہمارے پاس وہ چیز لایا جسے ہم نہیں پہچانتے تو کل ہم پر مہربانی فرما، گویا وہ فتح حاصل کرنے کی دعا کر رہا تھا۔
Hazrat Abdullah bin Sa'laba Radi Allaho Anho se marvi hai ke Abu Jahal ne jang Uhud ke din ye dua ki ke aye Allah! Is ne qata rehmi ki aur humare pass wo cheez laya jise hum nahi pehchante to kal hum per meherbani farma, goya wo fatah hasil karne ki dua kar raha tha.
Yaqub narrated to us, my father narrated to us from Ibn Ishaq, Muhammad bin Muslim az-Zuhri narrated to me from Abdullah bin Tha'laba bin Su'ayr al-Uzri, and in what was read to Yaqub: al-Uzri, an ally of the Banu Zuhra, said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) leaned upon the Companions at Uhud, and they mentioned the meaning of the narration of Yazid.

ہمیں یعقوب نے حدیث بیان کی، ہمیں میرے والد نے ابن اسحاق سے حدیث بیان کی، مجھے محمد بن مسلم الزہری نے حدیث بیان کی، عبداللہ بن ثعلبہ بن صعیر العذری سے، اور یعقوب پر پڑھی جانے والی چیز میں: العذری حلیف بنی زہرہ، کہا: رسول اللہ ﷺ احد کے صحابہ پر جھکے، پس انہوں نے یزید کی حدیث کے معنی ذکر کیے۔
Hamein Yaqub ne hadees bayaan ki, hamein mere walid ne Ibn Ishaq se hadees bayaan ki, mujhe Muhammad bin Muslim al-Zahri ne hadees bayaan ki, Abdullah bin Sa'labah bin Sa'eer al-Azdi se, aur Yaqub par padhi jaane wali cheez mein: al-Azdi halif Bani Zahrah, kaha: Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) Uhud ke sahaba par jhuke, pas unhon ne Yazid ki hadees ke mani zikr kiye.
It is narrated on the authority of Abdullah bin Tha'laba (may Allah be pleased with him) that once, two days before Eid al-Fitr, the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) addressed the people, saying: "Pay a Sa' of wheat, or a Sa' of dates, or a Sa' of barley, on behalf of every individual, free or slave, young or old, male or female."

حضرت عبداللہ بن ثعلبہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے عیدالفطر سے دو دن قبل لوگوں سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے فرمایا گندم یا گیہوں کا ایک صاع دو آدمیوں کے درمیان ادا کرو یا کھجور کا ایک صاع یا جو کا ایک صاع ہر آزاد اور غلام چھوٹے اور بڑے پر واجب ہے۔
Hazrat Abdullah bin Sa'laba (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki ek martaba Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne Eid-ul-Fitr se do din pahle logon se khitab karte hue farmaya gandam ya gehoun ka ek saa do aadmiyon ke darmiyan ada karo ya khajoor ka ek saa ya jau ka ek saa har azad aur ghulam chhote aur bade par wajib hai.
Abdullah bin Tha'labah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) addressed the people two days before Eid al-Fitr and said, "Give a Sa' of wheat, or half a Sa' each of you, or a Sa' of dates, or a Sa' of barley. It is due on every Muslim, free or slave, male or female, young or old. And Allah will purify the wealth of your rich with it, and will grant more to your poor."

حضرت عبداللہ بن ثعلبہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے عیدالفطر سے دو دن قبل لوگوں سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے فرمایا گندم یا گیہوں کا ایک صاع دو آدمیوں کے درمیان ادا کرو یا کھجور کا ایک صاع یا جو کا ایک صاع ہر آزاد اور غلام چھوٹے اور بڑے پر واجب ہے۔ اللہ تعالیٰ اس کی برکت سے تمہارے مالداروں کا مال پاکیزہ کر دے گا اور تنگدست کو اس سے زیادہ عطاء فرما دے گا۔

It is narrated on the authority of Abdullah bin Tha'laba (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) rubbed his hand over his face, and he saw Saad bin Abi Waqas (may Allah be pleased with him) praying one rak'ah of Witr, to which he would not add anything, until he woke up in the middle of the night.

حضرت عبداللہ بن ثعلبہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے ان کے چہرے پر ہاتھ پھیرا تھا اور انہوں نے حضرت سعد بن ابی وقاص رضی اللہ عنہ کو ایک رکعت وتر پڑھتے ہوئے دیکھا ہے جس پر وہ کچھ اضافہ نہیں کرتے تھے حتیٰ کہ نصف رات کو بیدار ہوتے۔
Hazrat Abdullah bin Thaalaba Radi Allaho Anho se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ne un ke chehre par hath phera tha aur unhon ne Hazrat Saad bin Abi Waqas Radi Allaho Anho ko ek rakat witr parhte hue dekha hai jis par wo kuch izafa nahi karte the hatta ke nisf raat ko bedar hote.
It is narrated on the authority of Abdullah bin Tha'laba (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) rubbed his hand over his face at the time of the conquest of Makkah.

حضرت عبداللہ بن ثعلبہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فتح مکہ کے زمانے میں ان کے چہرے پر ہاتھ پھیرا تھا۔
Hazrat Abdullah bin Thalaba (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne fatah Makkah ke zamane mein un ke chehre par hath phera tha.
It is narrated on the authority of Abdullah bin Tha'laba (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) wiped his face and he saw Sa'd bin Abi Waqas (may Allah be pleased with him) praying one rak'ah of Witr and he would not add anything to it until he woke up in the middle of the night.

Hazrat Abdullah bin Tha'laba (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi Karim (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne un ke chehre par hath phera tha aur unhon ne Hazrat Saad bin Abi Waqqas (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ko ek rakat witr parhte hue dekha hai jis par wo kuchh izafa nahin karte the hatta ki nisf raat ko bedar hote.
It has been narrated from an Ansari companion, may Allah be pleased with him, that there was a custom of "blood money" in the pre-Islamic period. The Holy Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, maintained it in the same way as it was in the pre-Islamic period. And in the case of a few Ansar men, who were from Banu Harithah and who had made a claim against the Jews, the Holy Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, gave the same decision.

ایک انصاری صحابی رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ زمانہ جاہلیت کے حوالے سے " قسامت " کا رواج تھا نبی کریم ﷺ نے اسے زمانہ جاہلیت کے طریقے پر ہی برقرار رکھا اور چند انصاری حضرات کے معاملے میں " جن کا تعلق بنو حارثہ سے تھا اور انہوں نے یہودیوں کے خلاف دعویٰ کیا تھا " نبی کریم ﷺ نے یہی فیصلہ فرمایا تھا۔
aik ansari sahabi razi Allah unhu se marvi hai ke zamanah jahiliyat ke hawale se " qasamat " ka riwaj tha nabi kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne use zamanah jahiliyat ke tareeqe par hi barqaraar rakha aur chand ansari hazrat ke mamle mein " jin ka taluq banu haritha se tha aur unhon ne yahudiyon ke khilaf daawa kya tha " nabi kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne yahi faisla farmaya tha.
Abdullah bin Thalabah (may Allah be pleased with him), whose face was touched by the blessed hand of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and who had met the companions of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), narrated that people used to forbid me from kissing my wife, lest I go further than that. Now, other Muslims are being prohibited from the same, and people say that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had a special protection from Allah that no one else had.

حضرت عبداللہ بن ثعلبہ رضی اللہ عنہ جن کے چہرے پر نبی کریم ﷺ نے اپنا دست مبارک پھیرا تھا اور انہوں نے نبی کریم ﷺ کے صحابہ رضی اللہ عنہ کو پایا تھا سے مروی ہے کہ لوگ مجھے اپنی بیوی کو بوسہ دینے سے روکتے تھے کہ کہیں میں اس سے زیادہ آگے نہ بڑھ جاؤں پھر آج دیگر مسلمانوں کو بھی اس سے روکا جا رہا ہے اور لوگ کہتے ہیں کہ نبی کریم ﷺ کو اللہ کی طرف سے وہ خصوصی حفاظت میسر تھی جو کسی اور کو حاصل نہ تھا۔
Hazrat Abdullah bin Thaalabah Raziallahu Anhu jin ke chehre par Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne apna dast mubarak pheira tha aur unhon ne Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke Sahaba Raziallahu Anhum ko paya tha se marvi hai ke log mujhe apni biwi ko bosa dene se rokte the ke kahin main is se ziada aage na barh jaun phir aaj deegar Musalmanon ko bhi is se roka ja raha hai aur log kahte hain ke Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko Allah ki taraf se woh khususi hifazat misar thi jo kisi aur ko hasil na tha.
