Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 16606
It is narrated on the authority of so-and-so bin Jariyah Ansari that the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, informed (the people) saying, "Your brother Najashi has died, so offer the funeral prayer for him."

فلاں بن جاریہ انصاری سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے اطلاع دیتے ہوئے فرمایا کہ تمہارا بھائی نجاشی فوت ہو گیا ہے، لہذا اس کی نماز جنازہ پڑھو۔
Falan bin Jariah Ansari se marvi hai ke Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne itla dete hue farmaya ke tumhara bhai Najashi foot ho gaya hai lihaza us ki namaz janaza parho.
قَالَ عَبْد اللَّهِ بن أحمد: حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، وَأَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ حُمْرَانَ بْنِ أَعْيَنَ ، عَنْ أَبِي الطُّفَيْلِ ، عَنْ فُلَانِ بْنِ جَارِيَةَ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" إِنَّ أَخَاكُمْ النَّجَاشِيَّ قَدْ مَات، فَصَلُّوا عَلَيْهِ".
