ومن مسند بني هاشم The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)
مُسْنَدُ عَبْدِ اللّٰهِ بْنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ رَضِيَ اللّٰهُ عَنْهُمَا

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 1840
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidina Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) rubbed his hand over my head and prayed for me to have wisdom and knowledge.
Grade: Sahih
سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ نے میرے سر پر ہاتھ پھیرا اور میرے لئے حکمت و دانائی کی دعا فرمائی۔
Sayyidna Ibn Abbas ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai keh ek martaba Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne mere sar par hath pheira aur mere liye hikmat o danai ki dua farmaee.
حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ ، عَنْ خَالِدٍ ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ " مَسَحَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَأْسِي وَدَعَا لِي بِالْحِكْمَةِ".
