Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 21073
Narrated by Khabbab (may Allah be pleased with him) that once we were in the presence of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) in the courtyard of the Kaaba. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was sitting in the shade of the Kaaba, leaning against his cloak. We submitted, "O Messenger of Allah, please pray to Allah for us and seek His help." Hearing this, the face of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) turned red and he said, "Before you, people were made to dig ditches for accepting this religion, and then they were made to lie in them with heavy stones placed upon their chests, crushing them, but even this did not make them turn away from their religion. Similarly, iron combs were used to tear through their flesh and reach their bones, but even this suffering did not make them turn away from their religion. And Allah will surely complete this religion, to the extent that a rider will travel between Sana'a and Hadhramaut fearing nothing but Allah or the attack of a wolf on his sheep, but you people are impatient.”

حضرت خباب رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ ہم لوگ بارگاہ نبوت میں حاضر ہوئے نبی ﷺ اس وقت خانہ کعبہ کے سائے میں اپنی چادر سے ٹیک لگائے ہوئے بیٹھے تھے ہم نے عرض کیا یا رسول اللہ اللہ سے ہمارے لئے دعا کیجیے اور مدد مانگیے یہ سن کر نبی ﷺ کے روئے انور کا رنگ سرخ ہوگیا اور فرمایا کہ تم سے پہلے لوگوں کے لئے دین قبول کرنے کی پاداش میں گڑھے کھودے جاتے تھے اور آرے لے کر سر پر رکھے جاتے اور ان سے سر کو چیر دیا جاتا تھا لیکن یہ چیز بھی انہیں ان کے دین سے برگشہ نہیں کرتی تھی اس طرح لوہے کی کنگھیاں لے کر جسم کی ہڈیوں کے پیچھے گوشت پٹھوں میں گاڑھی جاتی تھیں لیکن یہ تکلیف بھی انہیں ان کے دین سے برگشتہ نہیں کرتی تھی اور اللہ اس دین کو پورا کر کے رہے گا یہاں تک کہ ایک سوار صنعاء اور حضرموت کے درمیان سفر کرے گا جس میں اسے صرف خوف اللہ ہوگا یا بکری پر بھیڑیے کے حملے کا لیکن تم لوگ جلدباز ہو۔
Hazrat Khabab razi Allah anhu se marvi hai ki ek martaba hum log bargah e nabuwat mein hazir hue Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) us waqt khana e kaaba ke saaye mein apni chadar se teek lagaye hue baithe the humne arz kiya Ya Rasul Allah Allah se hamare liye dua kijiye aur madad mangiye ye sunkar Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke ruye anwar ka rang surkh hogaya aur farmaya ki tum se pehle logon ke liye deen kabul karne ki padash mein garhe khode jate the aur aare le kar sar par rakhe jate the aur un se sar ko cheer diya jata tha lekin ye cheez bhi unhen un ke deen se bargashta nahi karti thi is tarah lohe ki kanghiyan le kar jism ki haddiyon ke peeche gosht pathon mein gadhi jati thin lekin ye takleef bhi unhen un ke deen se bargashta nahi karti thi aur Allah is deen ko poora kar ke rahega yahan tak ki ek sawar Sanaa aur Hadramout ke darmiyan safar karega jis mein use sirf khauf e Allah hoga ya bakri par bhediye ke hamle ka lekin tum log jaldbaz ho.
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ، حَدَّثَنَا قَيْسٌ ، عَنْ خَبَّابٍ ، قَالَ: شَكَوْنَا إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَهُوَ يَوْمَئِذٍ مُتَوَسِّدٌ بُرْدَةً فِي ظِلِّ الْكَعْبَةِ، فَقُلْنَا: أَلَا تَسْتَنْصِرُ لَنَا اللَّهَ، أَوَلَا تَسْتَنْصِرُ لَنَا؟ فَقَالَ:" قَدْ كَانَ الرَّجُلُ فِيمَنْ كَانَ قَبْلَكُمْ يُؤْخَذُ، فَيُحْفَرُ لَهُ فِي الْأَرْضِ، فَيُجَاءُ بِالْمِنْشَارِ عَلَى رَأْسِهِ، فَيُجْعَلُ بِنِصْفَيْنِ، فَمَا يَصُدُّهُ ذَلِكَ عَنْ دِينِهِ، وَيُمَشَّطُ بِأَمْشَاطِ الْحَدِيدِ مَا دُونَ عَظْمِهِ مِنْ لَحْمٍ، وَعَصَبٍ فَمَا يَصُدُّهُ ذَلِكَ، وَاللَّهِ لَيُتِمَّنَّ اللَّهُ هَذَا الْأَمْرَ حَتَّى يَسِيرَ الرَّاكِبُ مِنَ الْمَدِينَةِ إِلَى حَضْرَمَوْتَ، لَا يَخَافُ إِلَّا اللَّهَ، وَالذِّئْبَ عَلَى غَنَمِهِ، وَلَكِنَّكُمْ تَسْتَعْجِلُونَ" .
