ومن مسند بني هاشم
The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 2537
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to say when afflicted with pain: “La ilaha illallahul azeemul haleem, la ilaha illallahu rabbul ‘arshil azeem, la ilaha illallahu rabbus samawati wal ardi, rabbul ‘arshil kareem.” “There is no deity worthy of worship except Allah, the Great, the Forbearing; there is no deity worthy of worship except Allah, the Lord of the Magnificent Throne; there is no deity worthy of worship except Allah, the Lord of the heavens and the earth, the Lord of the Noble Throne.”

سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ تکلیف آنے پر یہ فرماتے تھے: «لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللّٰهُ الْعَظِيمُ الْحَلِيمُ لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللّٰهُ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللّٰهُ رَبُّ السَّمَوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْكَرِيمِ» ”اس اللہ کے علاوہ کوئی معبود نہیں ہے جو بڑا عظیم اور بردبار ہے، اس اللہ کے علاوہ کوئی معبود نہیں ہے جو عرش عظیم کا مالک ہے، اس اللہ کے علاوہ کوئی معبود نہیں جو زمین و آسمان اور عرش کریم کا رب ہے۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Abbas ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) takleef aane par ye farmate thy: "La ilaha illallahu al-azeemul halim, la ilaha illallahu rabbul arshil azeem, la ilaha illallahu rabbus samawati wal ardi rabbul arshil kareem." "Iss Allah ke ilawa koi mabood nahi hai jo bada azeem aur burdbar hai, iss Allah ke ilawa koi mabood nahi hai jo arsh azeem ka malik hai, iss Allah ke ilawa koi mabood nahi jo zameen o asmaan aur arsh kareem ka rab hai."
حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبَانُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الْعَطَّارُ ، حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْعَالِيَةِ الرِّيَاحِيِّ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَمِّ نَبِيِّكُمْ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ ، أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، كَانَ يَدْعُو بِهَذِهِ الدَّعَوَاتِ عِنْدَ الْكَرْبِ:" لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ الْعَظِيمُ الْحَلِيمُ، لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ، لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ رَبُّ السَّمَوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْكَرِيمِ".
