ومن مسند بني هاشم
The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 2655
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (RA) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) visited us, at that time Sayyiduna Usama bin Zaid (RA) was riding behind the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), we offered them the same regular water to drink, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "You did well and continue to do so in the future."

سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ ہمارے پاس ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ تشریف لائے، اس وقت سیدنا اسامہ بن زید رضی اللہ عنہ نبی ﷺ کے پیچھے سوار تھے، ہم نے انہیں یہی عام پانی پینے کے لئے پیش کیا، نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”تم نے اچھا کیا اور آئندہ بھی اسی طرح کیا کرو۔“
Sayyeda Ibne Abbas Raziallahu Anhuma se marvi hai keh humare pass ek martaba Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) tashreef laye, us waqt Sayyeda Usama bin Zaid Raziallahu Anhu Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke peeche sawar thay, hum ne unhe yehi aam pani pine ke liye pesh kiya, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: "Tum ne achcha kiya aur aayenda bhi isi tarah kiya karo."
حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ يُوسُفَ بْنِ مِهْرَانَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ: جَاءَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَرَدِيفُهُ أُسَامَةُ، فَسَقَيْنَاهُ مِنْ هَذَا النَّبِيذِ، يَعْنِي: نَبِيذَ السِّقَايَةِ، فَشَرِبَ مِنْهُ، وَقَالَ:" أَحْسَنْتُمْ , هَكَذَا فَاصْنَعُوا".
