The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 2738
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidina Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to trim his mustache, and before him, your father, Prophet Abraham (peace be upon him), also used to trim his mustache.

سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ اپنی مونچھوں کو تراشا کرتے تھے اور ان سے پہلے تمہارے باپ حضرت ابراہیم علیہ السلام بھی اپنی مونچھوں کو تراشا کرتے تھے۔

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي بُكَيْرٍ , حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ ، عَنْ سِمَاكٍ ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ" يَقُصُّ شَارِبَهُ، وَكَانَ أَبُوكُمْ إِبْرَاهِيمُ مِنْ قَبْلِهِ يَقُصُّ شَارِبَهُ".
