The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 3294
Akarmah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: One time I said to Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him), "Today, I prayed the Zuhr prayer in Wadi Al-Batha behind a Sheikh. He said the takbir twenty-two times in one prayer. He would even say the takbir when he would go down in prostration and when he would raise his head from it." Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said, "May you not have a mother! The prayer of Abu al-Qaasim (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was like that."

عکرمہ رحمہ اللہ کہتے ہیں کہ ایک مرتبہ میں نے سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے عرض کیا کہ آج ظہر کی نماز وادئ بطحا میں، میں نے ایک شیخ کے پیچھے پڑھی ہے، اس نے ایک نماز میں بائیس مرتبہ تکبیر کہی، وہ تو جب سجدے میں جاتا اور اس سے سر اٹھاتا تھا تب بھی تکبیر کہتا تھا، سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما نے فرمایا کہ تیری ماں نہ رہے، ابوالقاسم ﷺ کی نماز اسی طرح ہوتی تھی۔
Ukrama Rahmatullah Alaih kehte hain ke aik martaba maine Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se arz kiya ke aaj Zuhr ki namaz Wadi e Batha mein maine aik sheikh ke peeche parhi hai usne aik namaz mein bayees martaba takbeer kahi woh to jab sajday mein jata aur us se sar uthata tha tab bhi takbeer kehta tha Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a ne farmaya ke teri maan na rahe Abu'l-Qasim (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki namaz isi tarah hoti thi.
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ ، أَخْبَرَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ ، قَالَ: صَلَّيْتُ خَلْفَ شَيْخٍ بِالْأَبْطَحِ، فَكَبَّرَ ثِنْتَيْنِ وَعِشْرِينَ تَكْبِيرَةً، فَأَتَيْتُ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ ، فَذَكَرْتُ ذَلِكَ لَهُ، فَقَالَ:" لَا أُمَّ لَكَ تِلْكَ صَلَاةُ أَبِي الْقَاسِمِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ".
