Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 4817
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “The right of inheritance (wala') belongs to the one who sets the slave free.” (Wala' here refers to the inheritance of the slave).
Grade: Sahih
سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”ولاء اسی کا حق ہے جو غلام کو آزاد کرے۔“ (ولاء سے مراد غلام کا ترکہ ہے)۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: "Wala isi ka haq hai jo ghulam ko azad kare." (Wala se murad ghulam ka turka hai).
حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ مُوسَى ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:" الْوَلَاءُ لِمَنْ أَعْتَقَ".
