Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 4849
Ziyad bin Sabihi Hanafi, may Allah have mercy on him, said: Once I was standing in front of the Kaaba, offering prayer. An elderly man was sitting beside me. I prolonged my prayer, and at one point, I placed my hand on my stomach. Seeing this, the Sheikh hit my chest so hard that it left no room for complaint. I thought to myself, "What problem does he have with me?" So, I quickly finished my prayer. When I looked, I saw a slave sitting behind him. I asked, "Who is this elderly man?" He replied, "He is Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar, may Allah be pleased with him." I sat down until he finished his prayer. Then I asked him, "O Abdur Rahman! What problem did you have with me?" He asked, "Are you the one?" I said, "Yes!" He said, "Such harshness in prayer? The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, forbade it."

زیاد بن صبیح حنفی رحمہ اللہ کہتے ہیں کہ ایک مرتبہ میں بیت اللہ کے سامنے کھڑا نماز پڑھ رہا تھا، میرے پہلو میں ایک بزرگ بیٹھے ہوئے تھے، میں نے نماز کو لمبا کر دیا اور ایک مرحلے پر اپنی کوکھ پر ہاتھ رکھ لیا، شیخ مذکور نے یہ دیکھ کر میرے سینے پر ایسا ہاتھ مارا کہ کسی قسم کی کسر نہ چھوڑی، میں نے اپنے دل میں سوچا کہ انہیں مجھ سے کیا پریشانی ہے؟ چنانچہ میں نے جلدی سے نماز کو مکمل کیا۔ دیکھا تو ایک غلام ان کے پیچھے بیٹھا ہوا تھا، میں نے پوچھا یہ بزرگ کون ہیں؟ اس نے بتایا کہ یہ سیدنا عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما ہیں، میں بیٹھ گیا یہاں تک کہ وہ نماز سے فارغ ہو گئے، میں نے ان سے عرض کیا کہ اے عبدالرحمن! آپ کو مجھ سے کیا پریشانی تھی؟ انہوں نے پوچھا: کیا تم وہی ہو؟ میں نے عرض کیا: جی ہاں! انہوں نے فرمایا: نماز میں اتنی سختی؟ نبی ﷺ اس سے منع فرماتے ہیں۔
Ziyad bin Sabeeh Hanafi rehmatullah alaih kehte hain ki aik martaba main Baitullah ke samne khara namaz parh raha tha mere pahlu main aik buzurg baithe hue the main ne namaz ko lamba kar diya aur aik marhale par apni kokh par hath rakh liya sheikh mazkoor ne ye dekh kar mere seene par aisa hath mara ki kisi qisam ki kasar na chori main ne apne dil main socha ki unhen mujh se kya pareshani hai chunancha main ne jaldi se namaz ko mukammal kya dekha to aik ghulam un ke peeche baitha hua tha main ne poocha ye buzurg kaun hain us ne bataya ki ye Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a hain main baith gaya yahan tak ki wo namaz se farigh ho gaye main ne un se arz kya ki aye Abdul Rahman aap ko mujh se kya pareshani thi unhon ne poocha kya tum wohi ho main ne arz kya ji haan unhon ne farmaya namaz main itni sakhti Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) is se mana farmate hain.
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ ، أَخْبَرَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ الشَّيْبَانِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا زِيَادُ بْنُ صُبَيْحٍ الْحَنَفِيُّ ، قَالَ: كُنْتُ قَائِمًا أُصَلِّي إِلَى الْبَيْتِ، وَشَيْخٌ إِلَى جَانِبِي، فَأَطَلْتُ الصَّلَاةَ، فَوَضَعْتُ يَدَيَّ عَلَى خَصْرِي، فَضَرَبَ الشَّيْخُ صَدْرِي بِيَدِهِ ضَرْبَةً لَا يَأْلُو، فَقُلْتُ فِي نَفْسِي: مَا رَابَهُ مِنِّي؟ فَأَسْرَعْتُ الِانْصِرَافَ، فَإِذَا غُلَامٌ خَلْفَهُ قَاعِدٌ، فَقُلْتُ: مَنْ هَذَا الشَّيْخُ؟ قَالَ: هَذَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ ، فَجَلَسْتُ حَتَّى انْصَرَفَ، فَقُلْتُ: أَبَا عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ مَا رَابَكَ مِنِّي؟ قَالَ: أَنْتَ هُوَ؟ قُلْتُ: نَعَمْ، قَالَ:" ذَاكَ الصَّلْبُ فِي الصَّلَاةِ، وَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَنْهَى عَنْهُ".
