Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 5337
Salim (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates that Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) used to say, "This is the place of Baydah about which you wrongly attribute to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). By Allah! The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) assumed Ihram from Masjid Dhu'l-Hulayfah (not from Baydah as you have popularized)."

سالم رحمہ اللہ کہتے ہیں کہ سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما فرماتے تھے یہ وہ مقام بیداء ہے جس کے متعلق تم نبی ﷺ کی طرف غلط نسبت کرتے ہو، بخدا! نبی ﷺ نے ذوالحلیفہ کی مسجد ہی سے احرام باندھا ہے (مقام بیداء سے نہیں جیسا کہ تم نے مشہور کر رکھا ہے)۔
Salim rehmatullah alaih kahte hain ki sayyidna Ibn Umar razi Allah anhuma farmate the ye wo maqam Baida hai jis ke mutalliq tum Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki taraf galat nisbat karte ho, Khuda! Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne Zulhulayfah ki masjid hi se ehram bandha hai (maqam Baida se nahin jaisa ki tumne mashhur kar rakha hai).
قَالَ: قَرَأْتُ عَلَى عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ : مَالِكٌ ، وَحَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عُقْبَةَ ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ: بَيْدَاؤُكُمْ هَذِهِ الَّتِي تَكْذِبُونَ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِيهَا!" مَا أَهَلَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَّا مِنْ عِنْدِ الْمَسْجِدِ"، يَعْنِي: مَسْجِدَ ذِي الْحُلَيْفَةِ، قَالَ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ: وَقَدْ سَمِعْتُهُ مِنْ مَالِكٍ.
