Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 5466
It has been narrated on the authority of Ibn 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that in the pre-Islamic period of ignorance, people used to sell the meat of a camel in exchange for the offspring of a pregnant animal, meaning the unborn baby still in its mother's womb. The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade this practice.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ زمانہ جاہلیت میں لوگ اونٹ کا گوشت حاملہ جانور کے حمل سے پیدا ہونے والے بچے کے بدلے بیچا کرتے تھے اور حاملہ جانور کے حمل سے پیدا ہونے والے بچے سے مراد ”جو ابھی ماں کے پیٹ میں ہی ہے“ اس کا بچہ ہے، نبی ﷺ نے اس سے منع فرمایا ہے۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki zamana jahiliyat mein log unt ka gosht hamil janwar ke hamal se paida hone wale bachay ke badle becha karte thay aur hamil janwar ke hamal se paida hone wale bachay se murad ”jo abhi maan ke pet mein hi hai“ is ka baccha hai, Nabi Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam ne is se mana farmaya hai.
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ ، أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ" يَنْهَى عَنْ بَيْعِ حَبَلِ الْحَبَلَةِ، وَذَاكَ أَنَّ أَهْلَ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ كَانُوا يَبِيعُونَ ذَلِكَ الْبَيْعَ، فَنَهَاهُمْ عَنْ ذَلِكَ".
