Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 5542
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) designated Dhu al-Hulayfah as the Miqat for the people of Madinah, Juhfah for the people of Syria, and Qarn for the people of Najd. And the people say that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) designated Yalamlam as the Miqat for the people of Yemen.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے اہل مدینہ کے ذوالحلیفہ، اہل شام کے لئے جحفہ اور اہل نجد کے لئے قرن کو میقات فرمایا: ہے اور لوگ کہتے ہیں کہ نبی ﷺ نے اہل یمن کے لئے یلملم کو میقات مقرر فرمایا ہے۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne Ahle Madina ke Zulhulayfah, Ahle Sham ke liye Jahfah aur Ahle Najd ke liye Qarn ko miqat farmaya hai aur log kahte hain ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne Ahle Yemen ke liye Yalamlam ko miqat muqarrar farmaya hai.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ:" مُهَلُّ أَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ مِنْ ذِي الْحُلَيْفَةِ، وَمُهَلُّ أَهْلِ الشَّاْمِ مِنَ الْجُحْفَةِ، وَمُهَلُّ أَهْلِ نَجْدٍ قَرْنٌ"، فَقَالَ النَّاسُ: مُهَلُّ أَهْلِ الْيَمَنِ مِنْ يَلَمْلَمَ.
