Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 5665
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidna Ibn Umar (Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "In the tribe of Thaqif there will be one who will lead people to ruin and one who will be a liar."

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”قبیلہ ثقیف میں ایک ہلاکت میں ڈالنے والا شخص اور ایک کذاب ہو گا۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: ”Qabila Saqeef mein ek halakat mein daalne wala shakhs aur ek kazzab ho ga۔“
حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُصْمٍ ، سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ ، يَقُولُ: قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" إِنَّ فِي ثَقِيفٍ كَذَّابًا وَمُبِيرًا".
