Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 5666
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) returned from the Battle of Uhud, the women of the Ansar began to weep for their martyred husbands. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Is there no one to weep for Hamza?" So some of the Ansar women came and wept for Hamza (may Allah be pleased with him). Then the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) lay down for a while. When he woke up, those women were still weeping in the same way. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Woe to them! You are still sitting here weeping. Tell them to go back and from this day forward, do not weep for any dead person."

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ جب نبی ﷺ غزوہ احد سے واپس ہوئے تو انصار کی عورتیں اپنے اپنے شہید ہونے والے شوہروں پر رونے لگیں، نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”حمزہ کے لئے کوئی رونے والی نہیں ہے“، چنانچہ کچھ انصاری عورتیں آ کر حمزہ رضی اللہ عنہ پر رونے لگیں، پھر نبی ﷺ کی آنکھ لگ گئی، بیدار ہوئے تو وہ خواتین اسی طرح رو رہی تھیں، نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: ان پر افسوس ہے، تم لوگ ابھی تک یہاں بیٹھ کر رو رہی ہو، انہیں حکم دو کہ واپس چلی جائیں اور آج کے بعد کسی مرنے والے پر نہ روئیں۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki jab Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) Ghazwa Uhud se wapas huye to Ansar ki aurten apne apne shaheed hone wale shoharon per rone lagi, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: "Hamza ke liye koi rone wali nahi hai", chunancha kuch Ansaari aurten aa kar Hamza (رضي الله تعالى عنه) par rone lagi, phir Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki aankh lag gayi, bedaar huye to woh khawateen isi tarah ro rahi thi, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: In par afsos hai, tum log abhi tak yahan baith kar ro rahi ho, unhen hukm do ki wapas chali jayen aur aaj ke baad kisi marne wale par na royen.
حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ ، حَدَّثَنَا أُسَامَةُ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَدِمَ يَوْمَ أُحُدٍ، فَسَمِعَ نِسَاءً مِنْ بَنِي عَبْدِ الْأَشْهَلِ يَبْكِينَ عَلَى هَلْكَاهُنَّ، فَقَالَ:" لَكِنْ حَمْزَةُ لَا بَوَاكِيَ لَهُ"، فَجِئْنَ نِسَاءُ الْأَنْصَارِ يَبْكِينَ عَلَى حَمْزَةَ عِنْدَهُ، فَاسْتَيْقَظَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُنَّ يَبْكِينَ، فَقَالَ:" يَا وَيْحَهُنَّ! أَنْتُنَّ هَاهُنَا تَبْكِينَ حَتَّى الْآنَ؟! مُرُوهُنَّ فَلْيَرْجِعْنَ وَلَا يَبْكِينَ عَلَى هَالِكٍ بَعْدَ الْيَوْمِ".
