Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 5764
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) prohibited from [using] earthen pots and gourds.
Grade: Sahih
سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے مٹکے اور کدو کے برتن سے منع فرمایا ہے۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne matke aur kaddu ke bartan se mana farmaya hai.
حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ طَاوُسٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ , أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" نَهَى عَنِ الْجَرِّ وَالدُّبَّاءِ".
