Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 5818
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidina Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Whoever can die in Madinah, let him do so, for I will intercede for the one who dies in Madinah al-Munawwarah.”

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”جو شخص مدینہ میں مر سکتا ہو، اسے ایسا ہی کرنا چاہئے کیونکہ میں مدینہ منورہ میں مرنے والوں کی سفارش کروں گا۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: ”Jo shakhs Madinah mein mar sakta ho, use aisa hi karna chahiye kyunki mein Madinah Munawwarah mein marne walon ki sifarish karunga۔“
حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ , عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ , عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:" مَنْ اسْتَطَاعَ أَنْ يَمُوتَ بِالْمَدِينَةِ فَلْيَمُتْ، فَإِنِّي أَشْفَعُ لِمَنْ يَمُوتُ بِهَا".
