Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 5972
It is narrated from Sayyidina Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saw a man who had dropped his hand (while sitting) in prayer. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Do not sit like this, this is the way of sitting of the people of punishment."

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ایک آدمی کو دیکھا جس نے نماز میں اپنا ہاتھ گرا رکھا تھا، نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”اس طرح مت بیٹھو، یہ عذاب یافتہ لوگوں کے بیٹھنے کا طریقہ ہے۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne ek aadmi ko dekha jis ne namaz mein apna hath gira rakha tha, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: “Is tarah mat baitho, yeh azab yaafta logon ke baithne ka tareeqa hai.”
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ سَعْدٍ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ , أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَأَى رَجُلًا سَاقِطًا يَدَهُ فِي الصَّلَاةِ، فَقَالَ:" لَا تَجْلِسْ هَكَذَا، إِنَّمَا هَذِهِ جِلْسَةُ الَّذِينَ يُعَذَّبُونَ".
