Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 801
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ali, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, was shrouded in seven cloths.

سیدنا علی رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ کو سات کپڑوں میں کفن دیا گیا تھا۔
Syedna Ali (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai keh Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko saat kapdon mein kafan diya gaya tha.
حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، وَحَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَقِيلٍ ، قَالَ عَفَّانُ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَقِيلٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ ابْنِ الْحَنَفِيَّةِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ" كُفِّنَ فِي سَبْعَةِ أَثْوَابٍ".
