Ibn Abi Najih transmits this narration from Mujahid regarding the saying: { أَنْفِقُوا مِنْ طَیِّبَاتِ مَا کَسَبْتُمْ } “Spend from the good things which you earn” - this refers to trade. { وَمِمَّا أَخْرَجْنَا لَکُمْ مِنَ الأَرْضِ } “And from that which We bring forth from the earth for you” - this refers to dates.

(٧٥٩٦) ابن ابی نجیح مجاہد سے اس قول کے بارے میں نقل فرماتے ہیں { أَنْفِقُوا مِنْ طَیِّبَاتِ مَا کَسَبْتُمْ } ” جو تم کماتے ہو اس میں سے خرچ کرو “ یہ تجارت ہے { وَمِمَّا أَخْرَجْنَا لَکُمْ مِنَ الأَرْضِ } ” اور اس میں سے جو ہم زمین میں سے نکالتے ہیں “ سے مراد کھجور ہے۔
(7596) ibne abi najeeh mujahid se is qoul ke bare mein naql farmate hain { anfiqoo min tayyibati ma kasabtum } ” jo tum kamate ho us mein se kharch karo “ ye tijarat hai { wamimma akhrajna lakum min al-ardi } ” aur us mein se jo hum zameen mein se nikalte hain “ se murad khajoor hai.
Samra bin Jundab (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to order us to pay Zakat on the wealth that we prepared for trade.

(٧٥٩٧) سمرہ بن جندب (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) ہمیں حکم دیا کرتے تھے کہ ہم اس میں سے زکوۃ دیں جس مال کو تجارت کے لیے تیار کرتے ہیں۔
Samra bin Jundub (RA) farmate hain ki Rasul Allah (SAW) humain hukm diya karte thay ki hum is mein se zakat dain jis maal ko tijarat ke liye taiyar karte hain.
Abu Dhar (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: In camels, in goats, in clothes, there is Zakat due on them.

(٧٥٩٨) حضرت ابو ذر (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : اونٹوں میں ، بکریوں میں کپڑے میں ان کی زکوۃ ہے۔
(7598) Hazrat Abu Zar (RA) farmate hain ke Rasul Allah (SAW) ne farmaya : oonton mein , bakriyon mein kapre mein in ki zakat hai.
Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “There is Zakat in camels, there is Zakat in goats and sheep, and there is Zakat in cloth. Whoever hoards dinars and dirhams or gold and silver, which he does not count as part of his wealth and does not spend in the way of Allah, then it is a treasure, with which he will be branded on the Day of Resurrection.” This narration does not mention cows.

(٧٥٩٩) حضرت ابو ذر (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : اونٹوں میں زکوۃ ہے، بکریوں میں زکوۃ ہے اور کپڑے میں زکوۃ ہے۔ جس نے دینار و درہم یا سونا و چاندی جمع کیا جسے وہ چٹی میں شمار نہیں کرتا اور نہ ہی اللہ کی راہ میں خرچ کرتا ہے تو وہ کنز ہے۔ جس کے ساتھ اسے قیامت کے دن داغا جائے گا۔ اس روایت سے گائے کا تذکرہ ساقط ہوگیا۔
7599 Hazrat Abu Zar (RA) farmate hain keh Rasul Allah (SAW) ne farmaya: oonton mein zakat hai, bakriyon mein zakat hai aur kapre mein zakat hai. Jis ne dinar o dirham ya sona o chandi jama kiya jise wo chatti mein shumar nahi karta aur na hi Allah ki rah mein kharch karta hai to wo kanz hai. Jis ke sath use qayamat ke din daga jaye ga. Is riwayat se gaye ka tazkira saqit hogaya.
Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that he heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying: "There is Zakat in camels, Zakat in goats, Zakat in cows, and Zakat in clothes."

(٧٦٠٢) حضرت ابو ذر (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ میں نے رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے سنا کہ اوٹنوں میں زکوۃ ہے ‘ بکریوں میں بھی زکوۃ ہے اور گائے میں بھی زکوۃ ہے اور کپڑے میں بھی زکوۃ ہے۔
Hazrat Abu Zar (RA) farmate hain ke maine Rasul Allah (SAW) se suna ke oonton mein zakat hai ‘ bakriyon mein bhi zakat hai aur gaaye mein bhi zakat hai aur kapre mein bhi zakat hai.
Abu 'Amr ibn Hamas said: "I passed by his father 'Umar ibn al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him), and he said: 'I had leather on my neck.' 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: 'Do you pay zakat on it?' I said: 'O Commander of the Faithful! I have nothing besides it except what is on my back, and I have dyed it in vats.' He said: 'It is wealth, keep it.' He said: 'I kept it before him, and he estimated it, and it was found that zakat was due on it, so he collected zakat from it."

(٧٦٠٣) ابو عمرو بن حماس فرماتے ہیں کہ ان کے والد عمر بن خطاب (رض) کے پاس سے گزرے، فرماتے ہیں کہ میری گردن پر چمڑا تھا تو عمر (رض) نے کہا : کیا تو اس کی زکوۃ ادا کرتا ہے ؟ میں نے کہا : اے امیر المؤمنین ! میرے پاس اس کے علاوہ کچھ نہیں جو میری پیٹھ پر ہے اور اسے میں نے چھلکوں میں رنگا ہے تو انھوں نے کہا : یہ مال ہے اسے رکھ ۔ وہ کہتے ہیں : میں نے ان کے سامنے رکھ دیا انھوں نے اندازہ لگایا تو معلوم ہوا کہ اس میں زکوۃ واجب ہے، پھر اس میں سے زکوۃ وصول کی۔
7603 Abu Amro bin Hamas farmate hain ki un ke walid Umar bin Khattab (RA) ke pass se guzre, farmate hain ki meri gardan par chamra tha to Umar (RA) ne kaha: kya tu is ki zakat ada karta hai? Maine kaha: Aye Amir-ul-Momineen! Mere pass is ke ilawa kuch nahi jo meri peeth par hai aur ise maine chhalkon mein rangwa hai to unhon ne kaha: Ye maal hai ise rakh. Wo kahte hain: Maine un ke samne rakh diya unhon ne andaza lagaya to maloom hua ki is mein zakat wajib hai, phir is mein se zakat wasool ki.
(7605) Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that there is no Zakat in goods except for trade goods. The Shaikh (scholar) said: This is the saying of the majority of the scholars. And what is narrated from Ibn Abbas that he said, 'There is no Zakat in trade goods,' Imam Shafi'i has mentioned in his book Al-Qadim that the chain of narration of the hadith narrated from Ibn Abbas is weak. And the hadith narrated from Ibn Umar is followed due to its authenticity. However, it is better to be cautious in matters of Zakat. The correct view is that when trade is not intended, then there is no Zakat in it.

(٧٦٠٥) حضرت عبداللہ بن عمر (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ سامان میں زکوۃ نہیں سوائے مال تجارت کے۔ شیخ فرماتے ہیں : یہ قول عام اہل علم کا ہے اور وہ جو ابن عباس سے منقول ہے کہ انھوں نے کہا : مال تجارت میں زکوۃ نہیں، یہ بات امام شافعی نے کتابِ قدیم میں بیان کی ہے کہ ابن عباس سے منقول حدیث کی سند ضعیف ہے اور جو ابن عمر کی حدیث کی اتباع ہے وہ اس کی صحت کے لحاظ سے ہے، لیکن زکوۃ میں احتیاط کرنا زیادہ بہتر ہے۔ صحیح بات یہ ہے کہ جب تجارت مقصود نہ ہو تو اس میں زکوۃ نہیں ہے۔
7605 Hazrat Abdullah bin Umar (RA) farmate hain ke saman mein zakat nahin siwae mal tijarat ke. Sheikh farmate hain: yeh qaul aam ahl ilm ka hai aur woh jo Ibn Abbas se manqol hai ke unhon ne kaha: mal tijarat mein zakat nahin, yeh baat Imam Shafi ne kitab-e-qadim mein bayan ki hai ke Ibn Abbas se manqol hadees ki sanad zaeef hai aur jo Ibn Umar ki hadees ki ittiba hai woh us ki sehat ke lihaz se hai, lekin zakat mein ehtiyat karna ziada behtar hai. Sahih baat yeh hai ke jab tijarat maqsud na ho to us mein zakat nahin hai.
