The Mother of the Believers, Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: I said to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), "We too shall participate in battles and Jihad with you." The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) replied, "But the best and most virtuous Jihad is the Hajj Mabrur (accepted Hajj)." Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said, "When I heard this from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), I never abandoned Hajj."

(٨٦١٨) ام المومنین سیدہ عائشہ (رض) فرماتی ہیں کہ میں نے نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے عرض کیا : ہم بھی آپ کے ساتھ غزوہ و جہاد کریں گے تو رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : لیکن احسن و افضل جہاد حج مبرور ہے، سیدہ عائشہ (رض) فرماتی ہیں کہ جب میں نے رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے یہ بات سن لی ہے تو میں کبھی بھی حج نہیں چھوڑوں گی۔
(8618) Umm ul Momineen Sayyida Ayesha (RA) farmati hain keh maine Nabi (SAW) se arz kiya: hum bhi aap ke saath ghazwah o jihad karenge to Rasool Allah (SAW) ne farmaya: lekin ahsan o afzal jihad Hajj Mabroor hai, Sayyida Ayesha (RA) farmati hain keh jab maine Rasool Allah (SAW) se yeh baat sun li hai to main kabhi bhi Hajj nahin chhorungi.
The Mothers of the Believers, may Allah be pleased with them, asked the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, for permission to go out for Jihad. He said, "Hajj is sufficient for you," or he said, "Hajj is your Jihad."

(٨٦١٩) ام المومنین سیدہ عائشہ صدیقہ (رض) فرماتی ہیں کہ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کی ازواج مطہرات نے آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے جہاد کرنے کی اجازت مانگی تو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا کہ تمہیں حج ہی کافی ہے یا فرمایا : حج تمہارا جہاد ہے۔
8619 Umm ul Momineen Sayyida Ayesha Siddiqa (RA) farmati hain ke aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ki azwaj e mutahhirat ne aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) se jihad karne ki ijazat mangi to aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya ke tumhe Hajj hi kaafi hai ya farmaya: Hajj tumhara jihad hai.
Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) permitted the pure wives of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) to perform Hajj and sent Uthman bin Affan and Abdur Rahman bin Auf (may Allah be pleased with them) with them. Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him) announced that no one should come near them or even look at them except from as far as the eye could see. This was while they were riding in howdahs on camels. They were helped down at the beginning of the valley, and the two (Uthman and Abdur Rahman) themselves dismounted at the last part of it. And no one sat near them.

(٨٦٢١) سیدنا عمر (رض) نے نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کی ازواج مطہرات کو حج کرنے کی اجازت دی اور ان کے ساتھ عثمان بن عفان اور عبدالرحمن بن عوف (رض) کو بھیجا تو عثمان (رض) نے اعلان فرمایا کہ کوئی ان کے قریب نہ آئے اور نہ ہی کوئی ان کو دیکھے مگر جہاں تک نظر جائے۔ حالاں کہ وہ اونٹوں پر ہودجوں میں سوار تھیں اور ان کو گھاٹی کے آغاز میں اتارا اور وہ دونوں خود آخری حصہ میں اترے اور کوئی بھی ان کے قریب نہ بیٹھا۔
8621 Saidna Umar (RA) ne Nabi (SAW) ki azwaj mutaharat ko Hajj karne ki ijazat di aur un ke sath Usman bin Affan aur Abdul Rahman bin Auf (RA) ko bhi bheja to Usman (RA) ne elan farmaya ke koi un ke qareeb na aaye aur na hi koi un ko dekhe magar jahan tak nazar jaye Halaan ki wo onton par hojjon mein sawar thin aur un ko ghati ke aaghaz mein utara aur wo donon khud akhri hissa mein utre aur koi bhi un ke qareeb na betha
Our master Abu Waqid al-Laythi (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), on the occasion of the Farewell Pilgrimage, saying to his pure wives: “This is it, then it will be the backs of mats.”
The Shaykh (scholar) says: The Hajj of Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) and other Mothers of the Believers after the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) indicates that what is meant by this narration is that Hajj is obligatory upon them once, just as it is stated that Hajj is obligatory upon men once, and there is no obligation beyond that. (And Allah knows best).

(٨٦٢٢) سیدنا ابو واقد لیثی (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ میں نے حجۃ الوداع کے موقع پر رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے سنا وہ اپنی ازواج مطہرات کو فرما رہے تھے کہ یہ ہے، پھر چٹائیوں کی پشت ہوگی۔
شیخ صاحب فرماتے ہیں : رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے بعد سیدہ عائشہ (رض) اور دیگر امہات المومنین کے حج میں اس پر دلالت ہے کہ اس خبر سے مراد ان پر ایک مرتبہ حج کا فرض ہونا ہے جیسا کہ مردوں پر ایک مرتبہ حج کے وجوب کو بیان کیا ہے ، اس سے زائد پر پابندی نہیں ہے۔ (واللہ اعلم)
(8622) Sayidna Abu Waqid Laythi (RA) farmate hain ki maine Hajjatal Wida ke mauqe par Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) se suna woh apni azwaj mutahirat ko farma rahe the ki ye hai, phir chataiyon ki pusht hogi.
Sheikh sahib farmate hain : Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ke baad Sayyida Ayesha (RA) aur digar ummahaatul momineen ke Hajj mein is par dalalat hai ki is khabar se murad un par ek martaba Hajj ka farz hona hai jaisa ki mardon par ek martaba Hajj ke wujoob ko bayan kiya hai, is se zaid par pabandhi nahi hai.
