Abbas and Masrur bin Mukhram had a difference of opinion in Abwa. Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) said that a Muhrim (a person in the state of Ihram) can wash his head, and Masrur said that he cannot. So Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) sent me to Abu Ayyub Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him). I found him performing Ghusl (ritual bath) between two walls, covered with a cloth. I greeted him, and he asked: "Who is it?" I said: "I am Abdullah bin Hunain. Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) sent me to you to ask how the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to wash his head in the state of Ihram." Abu Ayyub (may Allah be pleased with him) then placed his hand on the cloth and lifted it until I could see his head. Then he said to the person who was pouring water on him: "Pour water." He poured water on his head, then he rubbed his head with his hands, moving them forward and backward. Then he said: "This is how I saw the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) doing it."

(٩١٣٢) عباس اور مسور بن مخرمہ نے ابواء میں اختلاف کیا ۔ ابن عباس (رض) نے کہا کہ محرم اپنا سر دھو سکتا ہے اور مسور نے کہا کہ نہیں دھو سکتا تو ابن عباس (رض) نے مجھے ابوایوب انصاری (رض) کے پاس بھیجا تو میں نے انھیں کپڑے کی اوٹ میں قرنین کے درمیان غسل کرتے ہوئے پایا، میں نے انھیں سلام کہا تو انھوں نے پوچھا : کون ہے ؟ میں نے عرض کیا : میں عبداللہ بن حنین ہوں مجھے ابن عباس (رض) نے آپ کے پاس یہ پوچھنے بھیجا ہے کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) حالتِ احرام میں کیسے سر دھوتے تھے تو ابوایوب نے اپنا ہاتھ کپڑے پر رکھا اور اس کو جھکایا حتیٰ کہ مجھے ان کا سر نظر آنے لگا ۔ پھر اس شخص کو جو ان پر پانی بہا رہا تھا کہا کہ پانی ڈال۔ اس نے سر پر پانی ڈالا ، پھر انھوں نے اپنے سرکو اپنے ہاتھوں سے ہلایا ، دونوں کو آگے لے گئے ، پھر واپس لائے اور کہا کہ میں نے اسی طرح آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو کرتے دیکھا ہے۔
(9132) Abbas aur Masoor bin Mukhrama ne Abwa mein ikhtilaf kiya. Ibn Abbas (RA) ne kaha ki muhrim apna sar dho sakta hai aur Masoor ne kaha ki nahin dho sakta to Ibn Abbas (RA) ne mujhe Abu Ayyub Ansari (RA) ke paas bheja to maine unhen kapde ki oat mein qarnen ke darmiyan ghusl karte huye paya, maine unhen salam kiya to unhon ne poocha : kaun hai? Maine arz kiya : main Abdullah bin Hunain hun mujhe Ibn Abbas (RA) ne aap ke paas yeh poochhne bheja hai ki Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) halat e ehram mein kaise sar dhote thay to Abu Ayyub ne apna hath kapde par rakha aur is ko jhukaya hatta ki mujhe un ka sar nazar aane laga. Phir us shakhs ko jo un par pani baha raha tha kaha ki pani daal. Us ne sar par pani dala, phir unhon ne apne sar ko apne hathon se hilaya, donon ko aage le gaye, phir wapas laye aur kaha ki maine isi tarah aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ko karte dekha hai.
Ya'la bin Umayya reported: Umar ibn al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) was performing ghusl (ritual bath) under the cover of a camel saddle, while I had covered myself with a cloth on the other side. Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "Pour water over my head, O Ya'la!" I said, "The Commander of the Faithful knows best." Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "By Allah! Water only increases the unkemptness of hair." Then he mentioned the name of Allah and poured water over his head.

(٩١٣٣) یعلی بن امیہ فرماتے ہیں کہ عمر بن خطاب (رض) ایک اونٹ کے اوٹ میں غسل فرما رہے تھے اور دوسری جانب میں نے کپڑے سے اوٹ کی ہوئی تھی تو عمر (رض) نے فرمایا : میرے سرپر پانی ڈال اے یعلی ! تو میں نے کہا : امیرالمومنین زیادہ جانتے ہیں تو عمر (رض) نے فرمایا : اللہ کی قسم ! پانی بالوں کو پراگندگی میں ہی زیادہ کرتا ہے تو انھوں نے اللہ کا نام لے کر اپنے سر پر پانی ڈالا۔
Yaali bin Umayya farmate hain ki Umar bin Khattab (Razi Allahu Anhu) ek unt ke ot mein ghusl farma rahe the aur dusri jaanib maine kapde se ot ki hui thi to Umar (Razi Allahu Anhu) ne farmaya : mere sar par pani daal ae Yaali ! to maine kaha : Amir-ul-Momineen zyada jaante hain to Umar (Razi Allahu Anhu) ne farmaya : Allah ki qasam ! pani balon ko paragandagi mein hi zyada karta hai to unhon ne Allah ka naam lekar apne sar par pani dala.
Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: Sometimes 'Umar bin Al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) would say to me, "Let us dive in the water so that we may know whose breath is longer," while we were in the state of Ihram.

(٩١٣٤) ابن عباس (رض) فرماتے ہیں : کبھی کبھار عمر بن خطاب (رض) مجھے فرماتے ، آؤ پانی میں غوطہ لگائیں تاکہ پتہ چلے ہم میں سے کس کا سانس لمبا ہے جب کہ ہم محرم ہوتے تھے۔
(9134) Ibn Abbas (RA) farmate hain : kabhi kabhar Umar bin Khattab (RA) mujhe farmate, aao pani mein ghota lagayen take pata chale hum mein se kis ka saans lamba hai jab keh hum mehram hote thay.
Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that Asim bin Umar and Abdur Rahman bin Zaid both jumped in the river and were diving. They were dunking each other's heads, and Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) was looking at them, and he did not disapprove of it.

(٩١٣٥) عبداللہ بن عمر (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ عاصم بن عمر اور عبدالرحمن بن زید دونوں نے دریا میں چھلانگ لگائی اور وہ غوطہ خوری کر رہے تھے ، وہ ایک دوسرے کا سر ڈبوتے اور عمر (رض) انھیں دیکھ رہے تھے تو انھوں نے اس کو برا نہ جانا۔
(9135) Abdullah bin Umar (RA) farmate hain ke Asim bin Umar aur Abdurrahman bin Zaid dono ne darya mein chhalang lagai aur wo ghota khori kar rahe the, wo ek dusre ka sar dubaate aur Umar (RA) unhen dekh rahe the to unhon ne is ko bura na jana.
