(9219) Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) came to the Black Stone, kissed it and said: "I know that you are a stone, you can neither benefit nor harm. If I had not seen the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) kissing you, I would not have kissed you."
(b) In the narration of Musnad Abu Ya'la, it is stated that: I saw Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him), he turned towards the Black Stone and then said: "By Allah! I know that you are a stone, if I had not seen the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) kissing you, I would not have kissed you." Then he went ahead and kissed it.

(٩٢١٩) عمر (رض) حجر اسود کی طرف آئے ، اس کو بوسہ دیا اور فرمایا : میں جانتا ہوں کہ تو ایک پتھر ہے ، نہ نفع دے سکتا ہے نہ نقصان۔ اگر میں رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو تجھے بوسہ دیتے نہ دیکھتا تو میں تجھے بوسہ نہ دیتا۔
(ب) مسند ابو یعلیٰ کی روایت میں یہ الفاظ ہیں کہ میں نے سیدنا عمر (رض) کو دیکھا وہ حجر اسود کی طرف متوجہ ہوئے، پھر کہا : اللہ کی قسم ! میں جانتا ہوں کہ تو ایک پتھر ہے ، اگر میں نے رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو تجھے بوسہ دیتے ہوئے نہ دیکھا ہوتا تو میں تجھے بوسہ نہ دیتا۔ پھر آگے بڑھے اور اس کو بوسہ دیا۔
(9219) Umar (RA) Hajar Aswad ki taraf aaye, is ko bosa diya aur farmaya : mein janta hun keh tu aik pathar hai, na nafa de sakta hai na nuqsan. Agar mein Rasul Allah (SAW) ko tujhe bosa dete na dekhta to mein tujhe bosa na deta.
(b) Musnad Abu Ya'la ki riwayat mein yeh alfaz hain keh maine Sayyidna Umar (RA) ko dekha woh Hajar Aswad ki taraf mutwaja huye, phir kaha : Allah ki qasam! mein janta hun keh tu aik pathar hai, agar maine Rasul Allah (SAW) ko tujhe bosa dete huye na dekha hota to mein tujhe bosa na deta. Phir aage barhe aur is ko bosa diya.
Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that we entered Makkah at the time of Chasht (prayer) and the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came to the door of the Masjid. He made his she-camel kneel down, then entered the Masjid and started from the Black Stone, touched it and his eyes began to shed tears. Then he performed three rounds of Tawaf running and four rounds walking, until when he finished, he kissed the Black Stone and placed his hands on it, wiping his face with them.

(٩٢٢١) جابر بن عبداللہ (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ ہم چاشت کے وقت مکہ میں داخل ہوئے تو نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) مسجد کے دروازے پر آئے، اپنی اونٹنی کو بٹھایا ، پھر مسجد میں داخل ہوئے اور حجر اسود سے آغاز فرمایا ، اس کو چھوا اور آپ کی آنکھیں آنسو بہانے لگیں، پھر آپ تین چکر دوڑے اور چار چلے حتی کہ جب فارغ ہوئے تو حجر اسود کو بوسہ دیا اور اپنے ہاتھ اس پر رکھے اور ان کو اپنے چہرے پر پھیرا۔
9221 Jaber bin Abdullah (RA) farmate hain ki hum chasht ke waqt Makkah mein dakhil huye to Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) masjid ke darwaze par aye apni untni ko bithaya phir masjid mein dakhil huye aur Hajar Aswad se aaghaz farmaya is ko chhua aur aap ki aankhein aansu bahane lagi phir aap teen chakkar dauray aur chaar chale hatta ki jab farigh huye to Hajar Aswad ko bosa diya aur apne hath is par rakhe aur in ko apne chehre par phehra
A person asked Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) about touching the Black Stone, so he said: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to touch it and kiss it, so he said: What do you think if there is a crowd and I am overpowered? So he said: Leave this thought in Yemen. I saw the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) touching it and kissing it.

(٩٢٢٢) ابن عمر (رض) سے ایک شخص نے حجر اسود کو چھونے کے بارے میں پوچھا تو انھوں نے کہا : نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) اس کو چھوتے اور بوسہ دیتے تھے تو اس نے کہا : آپ کا کیا خیال ہے بھیڑ ہوجائے اور میں مغلوب ہوجاؤں تو انھوں نے فرمایا : اس خیال کو یمن میں ہی رہنے دے ، میں نے نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو اسے چھوتے اور بوسہ دیتے دیکھا۔
9222 Ibn Umar (RA) se ek shakhs ne Hajar Aswad ko chhone ke bare mein poocha to unhon ne kaha: Nabi (SAW) is ko chhote aur bosa dete the to usne kaha: Aap ka kya khyal hai bheer ho jaye aur mein maghloob ho jaun to unhon ne farmaya: Is khyal ko Yemen mein hi rehne de, maine Nabi (SAW) ko ise chhote aur bosa dete dekha.
