Umm al-Mu'minin Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: Utbah ibn Abi Waqqas advised his brother Sa'd ibn Abi Waqqas to take the son of Zama's slave-girl. Utbah said that he is my son. When the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) arrived during the conquest of Makkah, Sa'd brought the son of Zama's slave-girl and presented him before the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). Abd ibn Zama also came. Sa'd said: O Messenger of Allah! This is the son of my brother, he advised me to take him, saying that he is his son. Abd ibn Zama said: O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), this is my brother and the son of Zama, and he was born on his bed. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) looked at the son of Zama's slave-girl, and he resembled Utbah ibn Abi Waqqas. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: He will remain with you, O Abd ibn Zama! Because he was born on the bed of your father. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: O Saudah bint Zam'a! Observe Hijab from him, due to his resemblance with Utbah ibn Abi Waqqas. And Saudah bint Zam'a was the wife of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).

(١١٤٦٣) ام المومنین حضرت عائشہ (رض) فرماتی ہیں : عتبہ بن ابی وقاص نے اپنے بھائی سعد بن ابی وقاص کو وصیت کی کہ زمعہ کی لونڈی کے بیٹے کو لے لینا۔ عتبہ نے کہا کہ وہ میرا بیٹا ہے۔ جب فتح مکہ کے موقع پر نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) آئے تو سعد نے زمعہ کی لو نڈی کے بیٹے کو پکڑا اور نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے پاس لے آئے۔ عبد بن زمعہ بھی آگئے۔ سعد نے کہا : یا رسول اللہ ! میرے بھائی کا بیٹا ہے، اس نے مجھے وصیت کی تھی کہ یہ اس کا بیٹا ہے۔ عبد بن زمعہ نے کہا : یا رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) یہ میرا بھائی ہے اور زمعہ کا بیٹا ہے اور اس کے بستر پر پیدا ہوا ہے۔ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے زمعہ کی لونڈی کے بیٹے کی طرف دیکھا، وہ عتبہ بن ابی وقاص کے مشابہ تھا۔ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : وہ تیرے پاس رہے گا اے عبد بن زمعہ ! اس لیے کہ وہ اپنے باپ کے بستر پر پیدا ہوا ہے۔ پھر نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : اے سودہ بنت زمعہ ! اس سے پردہ کیا کر، عتبہ بن ابی وقاص کے مشابہ ہونے کی وجہ سے اور سودہ بنت زمعہ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کی بیوی تھی۔
(11463) Umm ul momineen Hazrat Ayesha (Raz) farmati hain : Utbah bin Abi Waqas ne apne bhai Saad bin Abi Waqas ko wasiyat ki keh Zamah ki laundi ke bete ko le lena. Utbah ne kaha keh woh mera beta hai. Jab fatah Makkah ke mauqe par Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) aaye toh Saad ne Zamah ki laundi ke bete ko pakra aur Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ke pass le aaye. Abdul bin Zamah bhi agaye. Saad ne kaha : Ya Rasulullah! Mere bhai ka beta hai, isne mujhe wasiyat ki thi keh yeh uska beta hai. Abdul bin Zamah ne kaha : Ya Rasulullah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) yeh mera bhai hai aur Zamah ka beta hai aur uske bistar par paida hua hai. Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne Zamah ki laundi ke bete ki taraf dekha, woh Utbah bin Abi Waqas ke mushabi tha. Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya : Woh tere pass rahega aye Abdul bin Zamah! Is liye keh woh apne baap ke bistar par paida hua hai. Phir Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya : Aye Saudah bint Zamah! Is se parda kiya kar, Utbah bin Abi Waqas ke mushabi hone ki wajah se aur Saudah bint Zamah Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ki biwi thi.
(11464) Narrated 'Urwa bin Az-Zubair: He heard Aisha saying: Sa`d bin Abi Waqqas and `Abd bin Zam`a brought (a case) before the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ). Sa`d said, "O Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)! My brother 'Utbah made a bequest to me that when I come to Mecca, I should take his son for he is his son (from your freed slave girl)." `Abd bin Zam'a said, "O Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)! He is my brother and the son of my father's slave girl; he was born on my father's bed." The Prophet (ﷺ) saw that he resembled `Utbah, so he said: "He will remain with 'Abd bin Zam'a." (The Prophet (ﷺ) further said, "The child is for (the owner of) the bed, and for the adulterer is the stone." And addressing Sauda, he said, "Observe veil before him (i.e., the boy)."
(b) In another narration the Prophet (ﷺ) said, "O `Abd! He is your brother."

(١١٤٦٤) عروہ بن زبیر (رض) سے روایت ہے۔ انھوں نے حضرت عائشہ سے سنا کہ سعد بن ابی وقاص اور عبد بن زمعہ اپنا جھگڑا رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے پاس لے کر آئے، سعد نے کہا : یا رسول اللہ ! میرے بھائی عتبہ نے مجھے وصیت کی تھی، اس نے کہا تھا : جب تو مکہ آئے تو زمعہ کی لونڈی کے بیٹے کو تلاش کر کے لے لینا، اس لیے کہ وہ میرا بیٹا ہے۔ عبد بن زمعہ نے کہا : یا رسول اللہ ! یہ میرا بھائی ہے اور میرے باپ کی لونڈی کا بیٹا ہے، وہ میرے باپ کے بستر پر پیدا ہوا ہے۔ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے دیکھا کہ وہ عتبہ کے مشابہ تھا، آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : وہ عبد بن زمعہ کے پاس رہے گا۔ بچہ بستر والے کا ہوتا ہے اور اے سودہ ! اس سے پردہ کیا کر۔
(ب) ایک روایت کے الفاظ ہیں : اے عبد ! وہ تیرا بھائی ہے۔
(11464) Urwa bin Zubair (RA) se riwayat hai. Unhon ne Hazrat Aisha se suna ke Saad bin Abi Waqas aur Abd bin Zamah apna jhagra Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ke paas le kar aaye, Saad ne kaha : Ya Rasul Allah ! Mere bhai Utbah ne mujhe wasiyat ki thi, usne kaha tha : Jab tu Makkah aaye to Zamah ki laundi ke bete ko talash kar ke le lena, is liye ke woh mera beta hai. Abd bin Zamah ne kaha : Ya Rasul Allah ! Yeh mera bhai hai aur mere baap ki laundi ka beta hai, woh mere baap ke bistar par paida hua hai. Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne dekha ke woh Utbah ke mushabih tha, Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya : Woh Abd bin Zamah ke paas rahega. Bachcha bistar wale ka hota hai aur ae Sauda ! Is se parda kiya kar.
(b) Aik riwayat ke alfaz hain : Ae Abd ! Woh tera bhai hai.
It is narrated on the authority of Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that Utbah bin Abi Waqas bequeathed to his brother to take the son of Zama's slave-girl and Utbah also said that this is my son. When the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came to Makkah at the time of the conquest of Makkah, Saad bin Abi Waqas caught the son of Zama's slave-girl and brought him to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and Abd bin Zama also came. Saad bin Abi Waqas said that this is my brother's son, his father had bequeathed me. Abd bin Zama said: O Messenger of Allah! This is my brother and was born on my father's bed; The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) looked at the son of Zama's slave-girl, he resembled Utbah. You (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: O Abd! He is your brother and will stay with you; Because he was born on his bed. Then he said: O Sauda! Keep yourself veiled from him; Because he resembled Utbah.

(١١٤٦٥) حضرت عائشہ (رض) سے روایت ہے کہ عتبہ بن ابی وقاص نے اپنے بھائی کو وصیت کی کہ زمعہ کی لونڈی کے بیٹے کو لے لینا اور عتبہ نے یہ بھی کہا کہ یہ میرا بیٹا ہے۔ پس جب فتح مکہ کے وقت نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) مکہ آئے تو سعد بن ابی وقاص نے زمعہ کی لونڈی کے بیٹے کو پکڑا اور نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے پاس لے آئے اور عبد بن زمعہ بھی آگئے۔ سعد بن ابی وقاص نے کہا کہ یہ میرے بھائی کا بیٹا ہے، اس کے باپ نے مجھے وصیت کی تھی۔ عبد بن زمعہ نے کہا : یا رسول اللہ ! یہ میرا بھائی ہے اور میرے باپ کے بستر پر پیدا ہوا ہے؛ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے زمعہ کی لونڈی کے بیٹے کی طرف دیکھا، وہ عتبہ کے مشابہ تھا۔ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : اے عبد ! وہ تیرا بھائی ہے اور تیرے پاس رہے گا؛ اس لیے کہ وہ اس کے بستر پر پیدا ہوا ہے۔ پھر کہا : اے سودہ ! اس سے پردہ کیا کر؛ اس لیے کہ وہ عتبہ کے مشابہ تھا۔
(11465) Hazrat Ayesha (Raz) se riwayat hai ki Utbah bin Abi Waqas ne apne bhai ko wasiyat ki ke Zuma ki londi ke bete ko le lena aur Utbah ne ye bhi kaha ke ye mera beta hai. Pas jab Fath Makkah ke waqt Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) Makkah aaye to Saad bin Abi Waqas ne Zuma ki londi ke bete ko pakra aur Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ke pass le aaye aur Abd bin Zuma bhi aa gaye. Saad bin Abi Waqas ne kaha ke ye mere bhai ka beta hai, iske baap ne mujhe wasiyat ki thi. Abd bin Zuma ne kaha: Ya Rasulullah! Ye mera bhai hai aur mere baap ke bistar par paida hua hai; Rasulullah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne Zuma ki londi ke bete ki taraf dekha, wo Utbah ke mushabih tha. Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: Aye Abd! Wo tera bhai hai aur tere pass rahega; is liye ke wo uske bistar par paida hua hai. Phir kaha: Aye Sauda! Is se parda kiya kar; is liye ke wo Utbah ke mushabih tha.
Narrated Abdullah bin Zubair: There was a slave girl belonging to Zama with whom he had intercourse. Another man used to stalk her, hoping that upon Zama's death, he could have the pregnant slave girl. When the child was born, it resembled the other man more. So, Sauda asked the Prophet (ﷺ) about it. He said, "The inheritance is for Zama, and what do you have to do with observing the veil from him? He is not your brother." The Prophet's (ﷺ) statement "He is not your brother" could mean that he is not his brother in resemblance, although he is his brother by virtue of the marriage bond. Therefore, it does not contradict the statement "O 'Abdullah! He is your brother". So, he was attributed to the one with whom his mother had been in an intimate relationship, when the issue of inheritance was decided for him.

(١١٤٦٦) حضرت عبداللہ بن زبیر (رض) سے روایت ہے کہ زمعہ کی ایک لونڈی تھی، وہ اس سے وطی کرتا تھا اور ایک آدمی اس کا پیچھا کرتا تھا، اس کا خیال تھا کہ زمعہ فوت ہوجائے، لونڈی حاملہ ہے۔ اس کا بچہ اس آدمی کے زیادہ مشابہ تھا۔ پس سودہ نے نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے اس بارے میں پوچھا تو آپ نے فرمایا : میراث اس (زمعہ ) کی ہے اور تو اس سے پردہ کیا کر، اس لیے کہ وہ تیرا بھائی نہیں ہے اور آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے اس قول سے یہ مراد ہوسکتی ہے کہشبیہ میں وہ تیرا بھائی نہیں ہے۔ اگرچہ بستر کے حکم سے وہ تیرا بھائی ہے۔ لہٰذایہ اس قول کے مخالف نہیں کہ اے عبد ! وہ تیرا بھائی ہے۔ پس اس کو ملا دیا بستر والے کے ساتھ جب اس کے لیے میراث کا فیصلہ کیا۔
(11466) Hazrat Abdullah bin Zubair (RA) se riwayat hai ki Zuma ki ek laundi thi, woh us se wati karta tha aur ek aadmi us ka picha karta tha, us ka khayal tha ki Zuma فوت ho jaye, laundi hamil hai. Us ka baccha us aadmi ke zyada mushaba tha. Pas سودہ ne Nabi (SAW) se is bare mein poocha to aap ne farmaya: Miras is (Zuma) ki hai aur tu us se parda kya kar, is liye ki woh tera bhai nahin hai aur aap (SAW) ke is qaul se ye murad ho sakti hai ki shabih mein woh tera bhai nahin hai. Agarche bistar ke hukm se woh tera bhai hai. Lihaza ye is qaul ke mukhalif nahin ki aye Abd! woh tera bhai hai. Pas us ko mila diya bistar wale ke sath jab us ke liye miras ka faisla kiya.
