Abu Nabbah narrated that I heard Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) saying that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to Abu Dharr: “Listen and obey, even if (your leader) is an Abyssinian slave whose head is like a raisin.”

(٥١١٨) ابو نباح فرماتے ہیں کہ میں نے انس (رض) سے سنا کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ابوذر سے کہا : سن اور اطاعت کر اگرچہ حبشی غلام ہو اور اس کا سر منکے کا سا ہو۔
(5118) abu nabah farmate hain ke maine anas (rz) se suna ke rasool allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne abu dhar se kaha : sun aur itaat kar agarche habashi ghulam ho aur uska sar munke ka sa ho.
Anas bin Malik narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Listen and obey, even if an Abyssinian slave, whose head is like a raisin, is appointed as your leader."

(٥١١٩) انس بن مالک فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : سنو اور اطاعت کرو۔ اگرچہ تمہارے اوپر حبشی غلام ہی عامل بنایا گیا ہو۔ گویا اس کا سر منکے کا سا ہے۔
(5119) Anas bin Malik farmate hain ki Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: Suno aur itaat karo. Agarche tumhare upar Habshi ghulam hi aamil banaya gaya ho. Goya uska sar munke ka sa hai.
(5120) (a) Abdullah bin Samit narrated from Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) that he went to a place called Rabdha. The Iqamah (call to prayer) was given, and a slave was leading them in prayer. It was said: “This is Abu Dharr.” He (Abu Dharr) started to step back, but then said, “My close friend (the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him) advised me three things: to listen and obey, even if an Abyssinian slave who is mutilated (in the ears) is appointed over you."
(b) Shu'bah said: "This Hadith indicates that a slave led them in prayer. They said to Abu Dharr, ‘Step forward.’ He refused. The slave went forward and led the prayer. Then he (Abu Dharr) mentioned the Hadith."

(٥١٢٠) (الف) عبداللہ بن صامت ابو ذر (رض) سے نقل فرماتے ہیں کہ وہ ربذہ مقام پر گئے، وہاں نماز کی اقامت کہہ دی گئی اور ایک غلام ان کی امامت کرواتا تھا۔ کہا گیا : یہ ابوذر (رض) ہیں۔ وہ پیچھے جانے لگا تو ابوذر (رض) نے فرمایا : مجھے میرے خلیل یعنی نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے تین چیزوں کی وصیت کی ہے : سن، اطاعت کر، اگرچہ تمہارے اوپر حبشی غلام ہو، جو کان کٹا ہوا ہو۔
(ب) شعبہ فرماتے ہیں کہ اس حدیث میں ہے کہ ایک غلام ان کو نماز پڑھاتا تھا، انھوں نے ابو ذر سے کہا : آگے بڑھو۔ آپ (رض) نے انکار کردیا۔ غلام آگے بڑھا اور نماز پڑھائی، پھر انھوں نے حدیث ذکر کی۔
(5120) (alif) Abdullah bin Samat Abu Zar (rz) se naqal farmate hain ke woh Rabza maqam per gaye, wahan namaz ki aqamat keh di gayi aur ek ghulam un ki imamat karwata tha. Kaha gaya: yeh Abu Zar (rz) hain. Woh peeche jane laga to Abu Zar (rz) ne farmaya: mujhe mere khalil yani Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne teen cheezon ki wasiyat ki hai: sun, itaat kar, agarche tumhare upar Habshi ghulam ho, jo kaan kata hua ho.
(b) Shubah farmate hain ke is hadees mein hai ke ek ghulam unko namaz parhata tha, unhon ne Abu Zar se kaha: aage barho. Aap (rz) ne inkar kar diya. Ghulam aage barha aur namaz parhayi, phir unhon ne hadees zikar ki.
Ibn Abi Malikah narrates: We used to visit Umm al-Mu'minin Aisha (RA) at a high place in the valley. There were myself, Ubayd bin Umair, Masruq bin Al-Ajda', and many other people. Our Imam used to be Abu 'Amr, the slave of Aisha (RA). Abu 'Amr had not yet been freed and he was the Imam of the sons of Muhammad bin Abi Bakr and the sons of Urwa.

(٥١٢١) ابن ابی ملیکہ فرماتے ہیں : ہم ام المؤمنین عائشہ (رض) کی خدمت میں وادی کے بلند مقام پر حاضر ہوا کرتے تھے۔ میں، عبید بن عمیر، مسور بن مخرمہ اور بہت سے لوگ تھے۔ ہماری امامت عائشہ (رض) کے غلام ابو عمرو کرواتے تھے۔ ابو عمرو اس وقت تک آزاد نہ ہوئے تھے اور بنو محمد بن ابی بکرہ اور بنو عروہ کے امام تھے۔
5121 Ibn e Abi Malika farmate hain : hum Umm ul Momineen Ayesha (Raz) ki khidmat mein waadi ke buland maqam par hazir hua karte thay. Main, Ubaid bin Umair, Masroor bin Mukhrima aur bohat se log thay. Hamari imamat Ayesha (Raz) ke ghulam Abu Umaro karwate thay. Abu Umaro us waqt tak azad na hue thay aur Banu Mohammad bin Abi Bakr aur Banu Urawa ke imam thay.
Hisham ibn Urwah reported from his father that Abu 'Amr Dhakwan was the slave of Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), and she emancipated him. He used to lead them in prayer during Ramadan while he was still a slave.

(٥١٢٢) ہشام بن عروہ اپنے والد سے نقل فرماتے ہیں کہ ابو عمرو ذکوان عائشہ (رض) کے غلام تھے، انھوں نے اس کو آزاد کردیا۔ وہ رمضان میں ان کو قیام کرواتے تھے، ان کی امامت کرواتے تھے جب کہ وہ غلام تھے۔
