Chapter: A Muslim Should Not Follow a Non-Muslim in Prayer
باب: لا يأتم مسلم بكافر
Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 5140
Abu Huraira and Abu Saleh (may Allah be pleased with them both) both narrate that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "I have been commanded to fight against people until they testify that there is no god but Allah, and when they profess it, their blood and property are protected from me, except for the right that is due, and their reckoning is upon Allah."

(٥١٤٠) ابو صالح اور ابوہریرہ (رض) دونوں فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : مجھے حکم دیا گیا ہے کہ میں لوگوں سے اس وقت تک جہاد کروں جب تک وہ ” لاَ إِلَہَ إِلاَّ اللَّہُ “ نہ پڑھ لیں۔ جب وہ کلمہ پڑھ لیں تو انھوں نے اپنے مال اور خون مجھ سے محفوظ کرلیے مگر حق کی وجہ اور ان کا حساب اللہ کے ذمہ ہے۔
Abu Saleh aur Abu Huraira dono farmate hain ke Rasool Allah ne farmaya: mujhe hukum diya gaya hai ke main logon se us waqt tak jihad karoon jab tak woh la ilaha illallah na parh len. Jab woh kalma parh len to unhon ne apne maal aur khoon mujh se mehfooz karliye magar haq ki wajah aur un ka hisab Allah ke zimme hai.
Abdullah bin Umar narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “I have been ordered to fight against the people until they testify that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah and that Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) is the Messenger of Allah and until they establish prayer and pay the Zakat. And when they do that then they will save their lives and property from me except for by the right of Islam and their account will be with Allah.”

(٥١٤١) عبداللہ بن عمر فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : مجھے حکم دیا گیا ہے کہ لوگوں سے لڑوں جب تک وہ یہ گواہی نہ دیں کہ اللہ کے علاوہ کوئی معبود نہیں اور محمد (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) اللہ کے رسول ہیں اور نماز قائم کریں اور زکوۃ ادا کریں۔ جب انھوں نے یہ کام کیے تو انھوں نے مجھ سے اپنے خون اور مال محفوظ کرلیے اور ان کا حساب اللہ کے ذمہ ہے۔
Abdulrahman bin Umar farmate hain ke Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya : mujhe hukum diya gaya hai ke logon se larun jab tak woh yeh gawahi na den ke Allah ke alawa koi mabood nahin aur Muhammad ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) Allah ke Rasul hain aur namaz qaim karen aur zakat ada karen. Jab unhon ne yeh kaam kiye to unhon ne mujh se apne khoon aur maal mahfooz karliye aur un ka hisab Allah ke zimme hai.
Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: I have been commanded to fight against the polytheists until they testify that there is none worthy of worship but Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah. So when they testify that there is none worthy of worship but Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, and they establish prayer like our prayer and face our Qibla and eat our slaughtered animals, then their wealth and blood are inviolable except by right. And for them are the same rights as for the Muslims, and upon them are the same obligations as upon the Muslims.

(٥١٤٢) انس بن مالک (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : مجھے حکم دیا گیا ہے میں مشرکین سے لڑائی کروں۔ یہاں تک وہ گواہی دیں کہ اللہ کے علاوہ کوئی معبود نہیں اور محمد (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) اللہ کے رسول ہیں۔ جب انھوں نے گواہی دے دی کہ اللہ کے علاوہ کوئی معبود نہیں اور محمد (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) اللہ کے رسول ہیں اور انھوں نے ہماری نماز کی طرح نماز پڑھی اور ہمارے قبلہ کی طرف منہ کیا اور ہمارا ذبیحہ کھایا تو ان کے مال اور خون ہمارے اوپر حرام ہیں مگر حق کی وجہ سے۔ اس کے لیے بھی وہی احکام ہیں جو مسلمان کے لیے، اس پر بھی وہی ہے جو کسی مسلمان پر ہے۔
(5142) Anas bin Malik (RA) farmate hain ki Rasul Allah (SAW) ne farmaya: Mujhe hukm diya gaya hai main mushrikeen se larai karoon. Yahan tak woh gawahi dein ki Allah ke ilawa koi mabood nahin aur Muhammad (SAW) Allah ke Rasool hain. Jab unhon ne gawahi de di ki Allah ke ilawa koi mabood nahin aur Muhammad (SAW) Allah ke Rasool hain aur unhon ne hamari namaz ki tarah namaz parhi aur hamare qibla ki taraf munh kiya aur hamara zabiha khaya to un ke mal aur khoon hamare upar haram hain magar haq ki wajah se. Is ke liye bhi wohi ahkam hain jo musalman ke liye, is par bhi wohi hai jo kisi musalman par hai.
