Chapter on Narrations Encouraging Its Early Performance in Severe Heat
باب ما روي في التعجيل بها في شدة الحر
Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 2065
(2065) It is narrated on the authority of Khabbab (may Allah be pleased with him) that we complained to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) about the intensity of the heat, but he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) did not accept our complaint. I asked Abu Ishaq about Zuhr. He said: Yes! I said: About offering it early? He said: Yes! About offering Zuhr early.

(٢٠٦٥) حضرت خباب (رض) سے روایت ہے کہ ہم نے رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے گرمی کی شدت کی شکایت کی، لیکن آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ہماری شکایت کو نہیں مانا۔ میں نے ابو اسحق سے پوچھا کہ ظہر کے بارے میں ؟ کہنے لگے : ہاں ! میں نے کہا : کیا اس کو جلدی ادا کرنے کے بارے میں ؟ انھوں نے کہا : جی ! ظہر کو جلدی ادا کرنے کے بارے میں۔
2065 Hazrat Khabbab (rz) se riwayat hai ki hum ne Rasool Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) se garmi ki shiddat ki shikayat ki, lekin aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne hamari shikayat ko nahin mana. Main ne Abu Ishaq se poocha ki Zuhr ke bare mein? Kehne lage: Haan! Main ne kaha: Kya is ko jaldi ada karne ke bare mein? Unhon ne kaha: Jee! Zuhr ko jaldi ada karne ke bare mein.
Narrated by Khabab bin Al-Aratt (may Allah be pleased with him) that we complained to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) about the intense heat (of the sun at midday) but he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) did not accept our complaint and said: "Pray when the sun has passed its zenith (declined)."

(٢٠٦٦) حضرت خباب بن ارت (رض) سے روایت ہے کہ ہم نے رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کی خدمت میں گرمی کی شدت کے بارے میں درخواست کی تو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ہماری شکایت کو نہ مانا اور فرمایا : جب سورج ڈھل جائے تو نماز پڑھ لو۔
(2066) Hazrat Khabbab bin Art (RA) se riwayat hai ki hum ne Rasul Allah (SAW) ki khidmat mein garmi ki shiddat ke bare mein darkhwast ki to aap (SAW) ne hamari shikayat ko na mana aur farmaya: Jab suraj dhal jaye to namaz parh lo.
Narrated Jabir bin Abdullah (RA): I used to offer the Zuhr prayer with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ). I would take a handful of pebbles in my hand so that they would become cool and I would place them on my place of prostration so that I could prostrate on them (to protect myself from the heat of the ground), (this was because of the intense heat).

(٢٠٦٧) حضرت جابر بن عبداللہ (رض) سے روایت ہے کہ میں رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے ساتھ ظہر کی نماز ادا کیا کرتا تھا۔ میں اپنے ہاتھ میں مٹھی بھر کنکریاں پکڑ لیتا تھا، تاکہ وہ ٹھنڈی ہوجائیں اور میں ان کو اپنے سجدے کی جگہ پر رکھتا تاکہ (زمین کی تپش سے بچتے ہوئے) ان پر سجدہ کروں، ( یہ گرمی کی شدت کے باعث تھا) ۔
(2067) Hazrat Jabir bin Abdullah (RA) se riwayat hai ki mein Rasool Allah (SAW) ke sath zuhar ki namaz ada karta tha. Mein apne hath mein muthi bhar kankriyan pakad leta tha, taake woh thandi hojain aur mein un ko apne sajday ki jaga par rakhta taake (zameen ki tapish se bachtay huye) un par sajda karoon, (yeh garmi ki shiddat ke baais tha).
