Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 11854
Abdullah bin Zubair (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that a man from the Ansar had a dispute with Zubair (may Allah be pleased with him) about the water of the Harrah stream, which they used to irrigate their date-palm trees. Then they presented their case before the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). The Ansari said, "Let the water flow." Zubair refused. They both came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "O Zubair! Irrigate your garden first, then release the water for your neighbor." The Ansari became angry and said, "O Messenger of Allah! Zubair is your cousin, isn't he?" The Messenger of Allah's (peace and blessings be upon him) face changed color. He said, "O Zubair! Water your garden, then hold back the water until it rises to the sides of the channels." Zubair said, "By Allah! I think this verse was revealed concerning this: 'But no, by your Lord, they will not [truly] believe until they make you, [O Muhammad], judge concerning that over which they differ.'"

(١١٨٥٤) حضرت عبداللہ بن زبیر (رض) نے فرمایا کہ انصار کے آدمی نے حضرت زبیر (رض) سے حرہ نامی نالے کا پانی جس سے کھجوروں کو پانی لگاتے تھے کے بارے جھگڑا کیا۔ پھر رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے سامنے اپنا جھگڑا پیش کیا۔ انصاری نے کہا : پانی آگے جانے دو ، حضرت زبیر نے انکار کردیا۔ وہ دونوں رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے پاس آئے۔ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : اے زبیر ! پہلے اپنے باغ کو پانی دو ، پھر اپنے ہمسائے کے لیے چھوڑ دو ۔ انصاری غصہ میں آگیا اور کہا : یا رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) ! زبیر آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کی پھوپھی کے بیٹے ہیں ناں ! رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے چہرے کا رنگ بدل گیا۔ آپ نے فرمایا : اے زبیر ! سیراب کرلو۔ پھر پانی کو اتنی دیر تک روکے رکھو کہ وہ منڈیروں تک چڑھ جائے۔ حضرت زبیر نے کہا : اللہ کی قسم ! میرا تو خیال ہے : یہ آیت اسی بارے میں نازل ہوئی ہے { فَلاَ وَرَبِّکَ لاَ یُؤْمِنُونَ } ہرگز نہیں تیرے رب کی قسم ! یہ لوگ اس وقت تک مومن نہیں ہوسکتے، جب تک آپ کو وہ اپنے جھگڑوں میں حاکم تسلیم نہ کریں۔
(11854) Hazrat Abdullah bin Zubair (RA) ne farmaya keh Ansar ke aadmi ne Hazrat Zubair (RA) se Harra nami nale ka pani jis se khajuron ko pani lagate thy ke bare jhagda kiya. Phir Rasul Allah (SAW) ke samne apna jhagda pesh kiya. Ansari ne kaha: Pani aage jaane do, Hazrat Zubair ne inkar kar diya. Wo dono Rasul Allah (SAW) ke pass aaye. Rasul Allah (SAW) ne farmaya: Aye Zubair! Pehle apne bagh ko pani do, phir apne humsaye ke liye chhor do. Ansari ghusse mein aagya aur kaha: Ya Rasul Allah (SAW)! Zubair aap (SAW) ki phoophi ke bete hain na! Rasul Allah (SAW) ke chehre ka rang badal gaya. Aap ne farmaya: Aye Zubair! Serab karlo. Phir pani ko itni der tak roke rakho keh wo mandiron tak charh jaye. Hazrat Zubair ne kaha: Allah ki qasam! Mera to khayal hai: Ye aayat isi bare mein nazil hui hai {Falaa Warabbika Laa Yu'minun} Har giz nahin tere Rab ki qasam! Ye log us waqt tak momin nahin ho sakte, jab tak aap ko wo apne jhagdon mein hakim tasleem na karen.
Urwah bin Zubair narrated that Az-Zubair (may Allah be pleased with him) had an argument with an Ansari man about an irrigation channel of Harrah. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "O Zubair! Irrigate your garden, then leave it for your neighbor." The Ansari man said, "O Messenger of Allah! Is Zubair not your cousin's son?" The Messenger of Allah's face changed color and he said, "O Zubair! Irrigate (your garden), then withhold the water until it reaches the ridges (of the land), then release it for your neighbor." The Messenger of Allah, due to the objection of the Ansari, instructed Az-Zubair about the complete right (of the neighbor). Although, before that, there was leniency for both. Az-Zubair said, "I think that this verse was revealed concerning this (matter), 'But no, by your Lord, they can have no Faith, until they make you (O Muhammad SAW) judge in all disputes between them...' " He (Urwah) said: I haven't heard anyone except Az-Zuhri saying about the words of the Messenger of Allah "...then withhold the water until it reaches the ridges..." that it means until it reaches the ankles.

(١١٨٥٥) عروہ بن زبیر فرماتی ہیں کہ حضرت زبیر (رض) کا ایک انصاری کے ساتھ حرہ کے نالے کے بارے میں جھگڑا ہوگیا، رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : اے زبیر ! اپنے باغ کو پانی دو ، پھر اپنے ہمسائے کے لیے چھوڑ دو ۔ انصاری نے کہا : یا رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) ! زبیر آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے پھوپھی کے بیٹے ہیں ناں۔ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے چہرے کا رنگ بدل گیا آپ نے فرمایا : اے زبیر ! سیراب کرلو۔ پھر پانی کو اتنی دیر تک روکے رکھو کہ وہ منڈیروں تک چڑھ جائے۔ پھر ہمسائے کے لیے چھوڑ دو ۔ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے انصاری کے اعتراض کی وجہ سے حضرت زبیر کو پورے حق کی تلقین کی۔ حالانکہ اس سے پہلے دونوں کے لیے وسعت تھی۔ حضرت زبیر نے کہا : میں خیال کرتا ہوں کہ یہ آیت اسی بارے میں نازل ہوئی ہے ” فلا وربک لا یو منون حتیٰ یحکموک “ فرماتے ہیں : میں نے زھری کے علاوہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کی اس بات کا مطلب کہ ” ثُمَّ احْبِسِ الْمَائَ حَتَّی یَرْجِعَ إِلَی الْجَدْرِ “ یہ تھا کہ وہ ٹخنوں تک ہوجائے۔
11855 Urooj bin Zabeer farmati hain ki Hazrat Zabeer (RA) ka aik Ansaari ke sath Harrah ke nale ke bare mein jhagra hogaya, Rasool Allah (SAW) ne farmaya: Aye Zabeer! Apne bagh ko pani do, phir apne hamsaye ke liye chhor do. Ansaari ne kaha: Ya Rasool Allah (SAW)! Zabeer aap (SAW) ke phoophi ke bete hain na. Rasool Allah (SAW) ke chehre ka rang badal gaya aap ne farmaya: Aye Zabeer! Siraab karlo. Phir pani ko itni dair tak roke rakho ki woh mandiron tak charh jaye. Phir hamsaye ke liye chhor do. Rasool Allah (SAW) ne Ansaari ke aetraaz ki wajah se Hazrat Zabeer ko pure haq ki talqeen ki. Halanki is se pehle donon ke liye wusat thi. Hazrat Zabeer ne kaha: Main khayal karta hoon ki yeh aayat isi bare mein nazil hui hai "Fala Warabbuka La Yuminuuna Hatta Yuhakimuk" farmate hain: Maine Zuhri ke alawah Rasool Allah (SAW) ki is baat ka matlab ki "Thumma Ihbisil Maa Hatta Yarjia Ilal Jaddhir" yeh tha ki woh takhnon tak hojaye.
Tha'laba ibn Abi Malik heard from his elders that a man from Quraysh, who had a share with Banu Qurayza [in a date grove], came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) concerning a dispute over the stream of Mahroz, whose water they used to distribute. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) judged between them that when the water reached the ankles, the one upstream should not hold back the water from the one downstream.

(١١٨٥٧) ثعلبہ بن ابی مالک نے اپنے بڑوں سے سنا کہ قریش کا ایک آدمی تھا، اس کا بنی قریظہ میں حصہ تھا وہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے پاس مھروز کے نالے کا جھگڑا لے کر آیا جس کا پانی وہ تقسیم کرتے تھے۔ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ان کے درمیان فیصلہ کیا کہ پانی ٹخنوں تک پہنچ جائے تو اوپر والا نیچے والے کا پانی نہ روکے۔
Saalba bin Abi Malik ne apne baron se suna keh Quresh ka aik aadmi tha us ka Bani Quraiza mein hissa tha woh Rasool Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ke paas Mehroz ke nale ka jhagra lekar aaya jis ka pani woh taqseem karte thay Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne un ke darmiyaan faisla kya keh pani takhnon tak pahonch jaye tou upar wala neeche wale ka pani na roke
Amr bin Shu'aib, on his father's authority, on his (the grandfather's) authority reported that Allah's Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) decided in the case of the canal of Mahroz that the water should be stopped (by a party) till it reaches the ankles, then the upper one should give it a turn to the lower one.

(١١٨٥٨) عمرو بن شعیب اپنے والد سے وہ اپنے دادا سے روایت کرتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے مہروز کے نالے کا فیصلہ کیا کہ پانی یہاں تک روکے کہ ٹخنوں تک پہنچ جائے، پھر اوپر والا نیچے والے کی طرف بھیجے۔
(11858) Amr bin Shoaib apne walid se wo apne dada se riwayat karte hain ki Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne Mehroz ke nale ka faisla kiya ki pani yahan tak roke ki takhno tak pahunch jaye, phir upar wala neeche wale ki taraf bheje.
Narrated 'Abadah bin As-Samit: Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) gave a verdict regarding an irrigating canal that the one at a higher level has precedence over the lower one, and that water should be stopped in it till it reaches the ankles, then the water should be directed to the lower level which is next to it, and the garden should be irrigated in a similar way.

(١١٨٥٩) حضرت عبادہ بن صامت سے منقول ہے کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے پینے والے نالے کا فیصلہ کیا کہ بلند پہلے ہے نیچے والے سے اور اس میں پانی ٹخنوں تک روکا جائے گا، پھر پانی نچلے کی طرف بھیجا جائے گا، جو اس کے ساتھ ہے۔ اسی طرح باغ کو پانی لگایا جائے گا۔
Hazrat Ubadah bin Samit se manqol hai keh Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Aalihi Wasallam) ne pine wale nale ka faisla kiya keh buland pehle hai neeche wale se aur is mein pani takhno tak roka jayega, phir pani neeche ki taraf bheja jayega, jo is ke sath hai. Isi tarah bagh ko pani lagaya jayega.
