Chapter on what is mentioned regarding tribal emblems and calling each tribe by its banner
باب ما جاء في شعار القبائل ونداء كل قبيلة بشعارها
Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 13050
It is narrated on the authority of Urwah ibn Zubair that, on the Day of Badr, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) made the slogan of the Muhajireen "Ya Bani Abdur Rahman" (O Children of Abdur Rahman), and the slogan of the Khazraj "Ya Bani Abdullah" (O Children of Abdullah), and the slogan of the Aws "Ya Bani Ubaydullah" (O Children of Ubaydullah), and he named his horses "Ya Khailullah" (O Horses of Allah).

(١٣٠٥٠) عروہ بن زبیر سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے بدر کے دن مہاجرین کا شعار یا بنی عبدالرحمن بنایا اور خزرج کا شعار یا بنی عبداللہ اور اوس کا شعار یا بنی عبیداللہ اور اس کے گھوڑوں کا نام یا خیل اللہ۔
13050 Urwah bin Zubair se riwayat hai ki Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne Badr ke din Muhajireen ka shiaar Ya Bani Abdur Rahman banaya aur Khazraj ka shiaar Ya Bani Abdullah aur Aws ka shiaar Ya Bani Ubaidullah aur uske ghoron ka naam Ya Khail Allah.
Narrated Aisha (RA): On the day of the Battle of Badr, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) designated the slogans for the emigrants as "Bani Abdur Rahman," for the Aws as "Bani Abdullah," and for the Khazraj as "Bani Ubaydullah."

(١٣٠٥١) حضرت عائشہ (رض) سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے بدر کے دن مہاجرین کا شعار بنی عبدالرحمن اور اوس کا بنی عبداللہ اور خزرج کا بنی عبیداللہ بنایا۔
Hazrat Ayesha (RA) se riwayat hai ke Rasul Allah (SAW) ne Badr ke din Muhajirin ka shiaar Bani Abdur Rahman aur Aws ka Bani Abdullah aur Khazraj ka Bani Ubaidullah banaya.
Samura bin Jundab reported that the slogan of the Muhajireen (migrants) was "Ya Abdullah (O Allah's slave)" and the slogan of the Ansar (helpers) was "Ya Abdul Rahman (O slave of the Most Merciful)".

(١٣٠٥٢) سمرہ بن جندب فرماتے ہیں کہ مہاجرین کا شعار یا عبداللہ اور انصار کا شعار یا عبدالرحمن تھا۔
13052 Samra bin Jundab farmate hain ki muhajireen ka shiaar ya Abdullah aur ansar ka shiaar ya Abdurrahman tha.
Salma bin Akwa' narrated: I was with Abu Bakr in a Ghazwa (battle) during the lifetime of Allah's Messenger (ﷺ), and our slogan was 'Amit Amit'.

(١٣٠٥٣) سلمہ بن اکوع سے روایت ہے کہ میں ابوبکر کے ساتھ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے دور میں غزوہ میں تھا، پس ہمارا شعار اَمِتْ اَمِتْ تھا۔
13053 Salma bin Akwa se riwayat hai ki main Abu Bakr ke sath Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ke daur mein ghazwa mein tha, pas hamara shiaar amit amit tha.
Mahlab bin Abi Safrah said: It has been narrated to me by the one who heard it from the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) that he said: If you survive to see the night, then your slogan shall be “Ham la yunṣarun”.

(١٣٠٥٤) مہلب بن ابی صفرہ کہتے ہیں : مجھے اس نے خبر دی جس نے رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے سنا، وہ کہتے تھے : اگر تم رات گزارو تو تمہارا شعار حَم لاَ یُنْصَرُونَ ہوگا۔
Mehlab bin Abi Safrah kehte hain mujhe isne khabar di jisne Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) se suna woh kehte the agar tum raat guzaar to tumhara shiaar Hum La Yunsaroon hoga
Narrated Bara' bin 'Azib: Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "Tomorrow you will meet your enemies, and your slogan will be: 'Ham la yunṣarun (We shall not be defeated).'"

(١٣٠٥٥) براء بن عازب سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : تم کل دشمن کو ملو گے پس تمہارا شعار حَم لاَ یُنْصَرُونَ ہوگا۔
(13055) Bara bin Aazeb se riwayat hai keh Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: Tum kal dushman ko milo ge pas tumhara shiaar Hum La Yunasaroon hoga.
Abu Ishaq narrated that a man from Medina told him that he heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) saying to a man who was calling out for his stray animal, "O unlawful! O unlawful!" The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "O lawful! O lawful!"

(١٣٠٥٦) ابواسحق نے مزینہ کے ایک آدمی سے سنا، اس نے کہا : رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ایک آدمی سے سنا، وہ اپنے شعار کی ندا لگا رہا تھا یا حرام یا حرام۔ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : یا حلال یا حلال۔
(13056) abuishaq ne mazeena ke ek aadmi se suna, usne kaha : rasool allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne ek aadmi se suna, woh apne shiyar ki nida laga raha tha ya haram ya haram. rasool allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya : ya halal ya halal.
