Nafi' narrates from Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that he sent me to Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) to ask if a man can be intimate with his wife during her menstrual period. She said, “He should tie a lower garment around his waist. Then he can be intimate with her if he wishes."

(١٤٠٨٠) نافع حصرت عبداللہ بن عمر (رض) سے نقل فرماتے ہیں کہ انھوں نے مجھے حضرت عائشہ (رض) کے پاس بھیجا کہ کیا مرد اپنی عورت سے حالت حیض میں مباشرت کرسکتا ہے، فرماتی ہیں کہ وہ اپنا لنگوٹ نچلے حصہ پر کس لے ۔ پھر وہ اس سے مباشرت کرسکتا ہے اگر چاہے۔
Nafey Hazrat Abdullah bin Umar (RA) se naqal farmate hain ke unhon ne mujhe Hazrat Ayesha (RA) ke pass bheja ke kya mard apni aurat se halat haiz mein mubashrat karsakta hai, farmati hain ke wo apna langoti nichle hissa par kas le. Phir wo us se mubashrat karsakta hai agar chahe.
Zayd bin Aslam narrated that a man asked the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), "What is permissible for me with my wife when she is menstruating?" He (ﷺ) replied, "She should tie a lower garment tightly around her waist, then you can enjoy from her above that."

(١٤٠٨١) زید بن اسلم فرماتے ہیں کہ ایک شخص نے رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے پوچھا : جب میری بیوی حائضہ ہو تو میرے لیے اس سے کیا حلال ہے ؟ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : وہ اپنے نچلے حصہ پر مضبوطی سے لنگوٹ باندھ لے پھر اوپر والے حصہ سے تیری جو حالت ہو۔

Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was asked, "What is permissible for a man with his wife when she is menstruating?" He said: "What is above the waist wrapper."

(١٤٠٨٢) حضرت عائشہ (رض) نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے نقل فرماتی ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے سوال کیا گیا کہ جب عورت حائضہ ہو تو مرد کے لیے کیا جائز ہے ؟ فرمایا : جو لنگوٹ سے اوپر ہو۔
Hazrat Ayesha (Razi Allah Anha) Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) se naqal farmati hain ke Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) se sawal kiya gaya ke jab aurat haiza ho to mard ke liye kya jaiz hai? Farmaya: Jo langoot se upar ho.
Ata' bin Yasar narrated from Aisha (RA) that she was under a blanket with the Prophet (PBUH), I sneaked out, so the Prophet (PBUH) asked: What happened to you? I said: I have started menstruating. You (PBUH) said: Tie your waist-wrapper and come in.

(١٤٠٨٣) عطاء بن یسار حضرت عائشہ (رض) سے نقل فرماتے ہیں کہ وہ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے ساتھ ایک لحاف میں تھی، میں چپکے سے نکل گئی تو نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے پوچھا : تیری کیا حالت ہے ؟ میں نے کہا : میں حیض والی ہوگئی۔ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : اپنی ازار باندھ لو، پھر داخل ہوجاؤ۔
Ata bin Yasar Hazrat Ayesha (Raz) se naqal farmate hain ke woh Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ke sath ek lihaf mein thi, mein chupke se nikal gayi to Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne poocha : teri kya halat hai ? mein ne kaha : mein haiz wali hogayi. Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya : apni izaar bandh lo, phir dakhil hojao.
Maimoona narrates that when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) wanted to be intimate (meaning to lie down with) his menstruating wife, he would order her to tie her waist wrapper.
Imam Shafi'i (may Allah have mercy on him) states: There is a difference of opinion regarding lying down with and being near a menstruating woman. She should place a cloth over her private area where the bleeding occurs.

(١٤٠٨٤) حضرت میمونہ فرماتی ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) جب اپنی حائضہ عورت سے مباشرت کرنا (یعنی ساتھ لیٹنا) چاہتے تو حکم فرماتے کہ وہ اپنی لنگوٹ کس لے۔
امام شافعی (رح) فرماتے ہیں : حالت حیض میں عورت کے ساتھ لیٹنا اور اس کے پاس آنا اس میں اختلاف ہے اور وہ اپنے خون والی جگہ پر کپڑا رکھ لے۔
Hazrat Maimoona farmati hain keh Rasool Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) jab apni haiza aurat se mubashrat karna (yani sath laitna) chahte to hukum farmate keh woh apni langoat kas le.
Imam Shafai (RA) farmate hain : Halat haiz mein aurat ke sath laitna aur uske pass aana is mein ikhtilaf hai aur woh apne khoon wali jagah par kapda rakh le.
