Chapter on what was permitted for him to marry without the consent of the woman, and if this was permissible, he could contract a marriage without her consent, and Allah the Almighty made this preferable for the believers over themselves.
باب ما أبيح له بتزويج الله وإذا جاز ذلك جاز أن يعقد على امرأة بغير استئمارها

Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that when the waiting period of Zainab (may Allah be pleased with her) was completed, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to Zaid: Go to Zainab and mention me to her. Zaid said: I went. I saw that she was covering her cheeks, so I couldn't bear to look at her, and my heart was filled with reverence for her. When I realized that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had mentioned him to her, I said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) has mentioned you. She said: I will not do anything until I have consulted with my Lord. She stood up in her place of prayer, and the Quran was revealed. And the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came and entered upon her without permission.

(١٣٣٦٠) انس (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ جب زینب (رض) کی عدت پوری ہوگئی تو نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے زید کو کہا : وہ زینب کے پاس جائے اور اس کے پاس میرا ذکر کرے، زید کہتے ہیں کہ میں چلا، میں نے اس کو دیکھا کہ وہ اپنے رخساروں کو چھپائے ہوئے تھیں، پس میں طاقت نہ رکھ سکا کہ میں اس کو طرف دیکھوں تو میرے دل میں ان کے لیے عظمت بڑھ گئی ۔ جب میں نے جان لیا کہ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے اس کا ذکر کیا ہے تو میں نے کہا کہ تجھے رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے یاد کیا ہے، تو اس نے کہا : جب تک میں اپنے رب سے مشورہ نہ کرلوں، میں کچھ بھی نہیں کروں گی۔ وہ اپنی نماز والی جگہ پر کھڑی ہوئی اور قرآن نازل ہوا اور نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) آئے اور آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) بغیر اجازت کے اس پر داخل ہوگئے۔
(13360) Anas (Razi Allaho Anho) farmate hain ki jab Zainab (Razi Allaho Anha) ki iddat poori hogayi to Nabi (Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam) ne Zaid ko kaha: woh Zainab ke paas jaye aur uske paas mera zikar kare, Zaid kahte hain ki main chala, main ne usko dekha ki woh apne rukhsaron ko chhupaye hue thin, pas main taqat na rakh saka ki main usko taraf dekhon to mere dil mein unke liye azmat barh gayi. Jab main ne jaan liya ki Nabi (Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam) ne uska zikar kiya hai to main ne kaha ki tujhe Rasool Allah (Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam) ne yaad kiya hai, to usne kaha: jab tak main apne Rab se mashwara na kar loon, main kuchh bhi nahin karungi. Woh apni namaz wali jagah par khadi hui aur Quran nazil hua aur Nabi (Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam) aaye aur aap (Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam) baghair ijazat ke us par dakhil hogaye.
Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that Zayd bin Harithah (may Allah be pleased with him) came to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) complaining about Zaynab (may Allah be pleased with her), and the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was telling him: "Fear Allah and keep your wife." Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "If the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) were to conceal anything of the revelation, he would have concealed this matter." And Zaynab used to boast over the other wives (of the Prophet) saying: "Your marriages were conducted by your families, but my marriage was conducted by Allah, the Almighty, above the seven heavens."

(١٣٣٦١) انس بن مالک (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ زید بن حارثہ (رض) نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے پاس آئے اور زینت (رض) کی شکایت کر رہے تھے اور نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) اس کو فرما رہے تھے کہ اللہ سے ڈرو اور اسے اپنی بیوی بنا کر رکھو، انس (رض) کہتے ہیں : اگر نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کوئی چیز چھپانے والے تھے تو وہ یہی بات تھی اور حضرت زینب باقی بیویوں پر فخر کرتی تھیں کہ تمہارا نکاح تمہارے گھر والوں نے کیا ہے اور میرا نکاح اللہ پاک نے سات آسمانوں کے اوپر کیا ہے۔
13361 Anas bin Malik farmate hain ki Zaid bin Haritha Nabi ke pass aye aur Zainab ki shikayat kar rahe the aur Nabi usko farma rahe the ki Allah se daro aur use apni biwi bana kar rakho Anas kahte hain agar Nabi koi cheez chhupane wale the to wo yahi baat thi aur Hazrat Zainab baqi biwion par fakhr karti thin ki tumhara nikah tumhare ghar walon ne kiya hai aur mera nikah Allah Pak ne saat aasmanon ke upar kiya hai
Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that Zainab bint Jahsh used to boast over the other wives (of the Prophet) that Allah Almighty had contracted her marriage in the heavens. Then the verses regarding the veil were revealed. The narrator says: People were sitting in the house of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). He went out, then came back, then went out again, and the people were still sitting (there). It seemed that there were signs of displeasure on his face. Then the verse of the veil was revealed: {O you who believe! Enter not the houses of the Prophet unless permission is given to you}.

(١٣٣٦٢) انس (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ زینب بنت جحش باقی بیویوں پر فخر کرتی تھیں کہ اللہ تعالیٰ نے میرا نکاح آسمان پر کیا ہے اور ان کے بارے میں پردے کی آیت نازل ہوئی۔ راوی کہتا ہے کہ لوگ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے گھر میں بیٹھے ہوئے تھے کہ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نکلے پھر واپس گئے، دوبارہ نکلے تو لوگ بیٹھے ہوئے تھے۔ گویا آپ کے چہرے پر ناگواری کے آثار دیکھے گئے، (اس وجہ سے) پردے کی آیت نازل ہوئی : { یَا أَیُّہَا الَّذِینَ آمَنُوا لاَ تَدْخُلُوا بُیُوتَ النَّبِیِّ إِلاَّ أَنْ یُؤْذَنَ لَکُمْ }
(13362) Anas (RA) farmate hain ki Zainab bint Jahsh baqi biwiyon par fakhr karti thin ke Allah Ta'ala ne mera nikah aasman par kiya hai aur un ke bare mein parday ki ayat nazil hui. Rawi kehta hai ki log Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ke ghar mein baithe hue the ke aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) nikle phir wapas gaye, dobara nikle to log baithe hue the. Goya aap ke chehre par naguwari ke asar dekhe gaye, (is wajah se) parday ki ayat nazil hui : { Ya ayyuhal lazeena amano la tadkhulu buyutan nabiyyi illa an yu'zana lakum }.
